  1. NFL Policy Decisions and The Meaning of Life. Unsolvable.
  2. On a positive note. He gets 3 weeks to get complete rest and maybe the stomach issue under control. Could help him and the team down the stretch.
  3. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-trade-deadline-one-move-each-contender-should-make-to-get-over-hump-bills-go-all-in-for-kareem-hunt/ Kansas City Chiefs RB Ronald Jones Jones, whom the Chiefs signed in the offseason, has been healthy but has yet to suit up for a game this season. He is a clear fourth among four on the running back depth chart behind Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Jerick McKinnon and rookie Isiah Pacheco, making Jones someone the Chiefs can afford to part with. He could be attractive to a team looking for a back who might be available for a modest outlay and who has little or no wear and tear from the current season. — Adam Teicher
  4. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-trade-deadline-one-move-each-contender-should-make-to-get-over-hump-bills-go-all-in-for-kareem-hunt/ Chiefs (5-2) Receive: CB William Jackson Trade: 2023 fourth-round pick OR Receive: CB Sidney Jones Trade: 2023 third-round pick Kansas City could use some help on defense as it sits 25th in the league in scoring, 30th in passing yards allowed and last in touchdown passes allowed through seven weeks. Possible trade options here include Washington’s William Jackson III and Seattle’s Sidney Jones.
  5. Yes I can do the math. Clark is gone 2. If KC does acquire anyone it will most likely be a decision not based on his 2 game suspension. It was likely in the works regardless. I dont see KC making a major acquisition. Maybe lower level depth. Quinn has a huge cap hit next season too.
  6. He is not. Many times (like in the case of Willie Gay Jr., who had a four-game suspension earlier this season), the club is made aware that a punishment is coming. It is possible that went into the team’s strategy to rest defensive end Mike Danna against the San Francisco 49ers, as he has been battling through a calf injury since Week 2. Danna returned against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6 but sat out Week 7, effectively giving him about three weeks of time off his feet with the bye week looming. Danna is part of a defensive end room that includes rookie George Karlaftis, Carlos Dunlap, Malik Herring and Josh Kaindoh. For the next two games, they’ll have to do without Clark.
  7. I dont see KC doing anything for 2 games. Next man up.
  8. Bills at home vs KC not a big favorite. PM plays really well in the cold. Maybe a 3 point favorite? Maybe? I think it might be a plus playing them ,as underdogs, on the road. Chiefs will show up with a Chip.
  9. Im not high on him. He has an important role and the offense is humming now. I doubt he gets any big offers next year. Most Kc receivers that have left in free agency have not done much. The Mahomes factor.
  10. Nobody is a fast. Speed is important to stretch that field. The other guys are unproven. At the end of the deadline he wont be traded. I doubt Veach is thinking we need more picks vs proven depth for a deep playoff run. Chiefs could be buyers.
  11. Titans signed WR Chris Conley off the Chiefs practice squad. This is Conley's third stop this season.
  12. Titans signed WR Chris Conley off the Chiefs practice squad. This is Conley's third stop this season.
  13. Its hard to find any reporting I can trust on any topic. Its all clicks focused and exaggeration to get views.
  14. Maybe they did? KC stll has Conley & Powell on the PS. Nobody claimed any of these guys off the KC PS squad. Teams could just get him or any other guy on the PS for free. Did not happen.
  15. Remember, Conley hasn’t been around K.C. since Mahomes’ first season as a starting quarterback. In that year, Conley grabbed five touchdown catches when he’d had only 1 in his previous three seasons. Conley likely would have loved to have stuck around Kansas City to grow with the young offense, but the Chiefs turned the page at the position and Conley moved on to the AFC South. Conley spent 2019-2020 with the Jacksonville Jaguars, making the most of a miserable franchise—at least on the field–before heading to the Houston Texans in 2021 and a couple of games into this present season. In that span of time, Conley has remained a moderately utilized target no matter what offensive system he’s in with career averages of 30 catches for 401 yards and 2 touchdowns. If the Chiefs tap Conley on the shoulder, he will likely step right into a role that gives him a handful of targets as a receiver who can slip inside the slot or line him up outside. While other teams haven’t utilized him inside as much as K.C. did in his final season, he’s definitely still used to lining up in multiple spaces and that should keep him useful if something happens to the WR room
  16. But what people might have forgotten was that Powell was a late bloomer at Clemson and didn’t come into his own until he was a fifth-year senior for the Tigers. Suddenly he put up 53 catches for 882 yards and 7 touchdowns and landed on draft boards around the league. This preseason, the story was technically the same—Powell failed to get a roster spot and was back on the practice squad—but the paths looked remarkably different. Powell was clearly stronger and more mentally prepared for the tasks in front of him and at times he looked like he might be the best developmental receiver on the team. Going forward, there’s every reason to believe that Powell might turn into a real contributor next season with another full year of growth with the Chiefs staff. However, if push comes to shove, he could also likely help in a pinch this year.https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/10/25/kc-chiefs-still-plenty-wr-help-case-emergency/
  17. https://www.pandora.com/podcast/chris-simms-unbuttoned/nfl-week-7-recap-moo-mooo-oh-wait-its-a-horse/PE:1207890446 Simms podcast. Starts out discussing Chiefs/SF........Loves the Hardman role and how he forces teams to plan for that speed and those plays. Compares his role to Debo Samuel even as a decoy.
  18. SB? Who brought that up? Any team can get to that SB game if they get in the play off dance. Hell Cinn made it? KC will be in the play offs. They could go 5-5 and get in. KC could have beat Buff. It was that close. There are no unbeatable teams..
  19. And if one of your top two receivers is injured you have unproven guys at #2. Not going to happen. Andy is not going to rely on Moore at this point. Chiefs are just putting it together. Actually coming together faster than I would have thought. Depth and Experience wins in the play offs. Watson is a 4-5 YR NFL player. Moore is developing every day during practice film etc. If he were great in practice, no mistakes or mental errors, he would be getting more opportunities and running different routes. Fans dont see practice and behind the scenes. Easy to think the other guy is better.
  20. Cant blame him. Kemp got the call. Nice of KC to let him see what he can find. KC is CLASS
  21. Its not worth trading this guy mid season for a mid round pick. He is a part of this offense surge. He was hurt until recently. Build on the MO. Its not like KC is deep at receiver. Moore needs more seasoning. An injury to one of the top two guys is not unlikely.
  22. Give Kafta a call. LOL Seriously dont you think he and others see the same things? Hardman is a good role guy etc. Is that a 4th? Maybe? I still dont deal him at this point.
