Chiefs lost because Andy Reid screwed up the last 2 minutes of the first half just like he did in the AFC Champ game. He does this all the time. Run it a couple times. Almost in field goal range. Leave no time for Buff. But no 3 passes. Reid is a jack ass in time management before the half.
Yes the Chiefs got a bit lucky and the punt went to the 2 yard line. There should have been no time on the clock to march down the field. Thats a 10 point switch.
Reid is a great coach and leader. Reid may design some great plays but genius not so much. Without Mahomes the KC team is a 500 team .. Mahomes makes Reid like Brady made Belicheat.
Its too much to expect rookies to hold this team down. This is a difficult time to match up with this team. Will be different later in the year. Couple of stops could be enough for KC to win if they score over 40.
Hard to say for sure. Lots of guys older than that are still getting it done at a high level. Adding a great DE but losing Jones is not a huge gain. I see KC using the draft. It is possible the Brass knows this season is not their best shot. Yes they still do as much as possible, cause the best team on paper does not guarantee anything, but do not mortgage the future.
