  1. Good morning football. Hate Monday Night Games but having PM and Co prime time should help the boys avoid a let down and thump the Raiders. Hope KC gets on top early. Adams should have a big game for Faiders. Close game and KC wins by not kicking field goals. Carr turns it over on his big drive. 35-31 KC The Raiders’ offense scores on 50% of its possessions, which is tied with the Chiefs as the NFL’s best rate. But they rank 10th in points scored, because their red-zone efficiency has been bad. Las Vegas has turned only eight of its 18 red-zone drives into touchdowns; that 44% success rate ranks 28th. But outside of the pick six in Week 2, the Chiefs’ red-zone defense hasn’t been good, either; the unit ranks 30th in red-zone touchdown percentage, allowing 12 of 15 possessions to score touchdowns. Adams will often be a target. He leads the NFL in red-zone targets (13) — and all three of his touchdowns have been in the red zone. Darren Waller, however, also has the tools to create separation — especially against Kansas City linebackers Nick Bolton and Darius Harris. They’ll need help from the safeties to lock Waller down.
  2. I have never supported Brown. You have that confused. Guys on this board have been all over me about not signing Brown. In fact I hated the trade and called it then. So we agree.
  3. Thats it. Easy solutions. Keep it simple. Like it.
  4. DUDE, Appears you have it all figured out. Happy times for sure.
  5. I was correct about Brown & KC so there is that! Even get it right once in a blue moon. LOL
  6. Yes this is AFCWEST beating that dead horse. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/10/09/orlando-browns-mediocrity-harms-chiefs-present-future-plans/ After the contract negotiations ended, there seemed to be bad blood between Brown and the Chiefs. Kansas City front office members said “this isn’t the same guy that we traded for,” saying Brown was not a team player and difficult to work with. Sure, these statements are anonymous and should be taken with a grain of salt. But, where there is plenty of smoke, there is a fire. Both parties have moved on to the regular season, but there are still some effects of Brown’s extensive negotiations going nowhere. Each of Kansas City’s moves this past offseason had to be made considering a possible Brown deal. Chiefs general manager Brett Veach loves to back-load contracts. metaphorically kicking the financial can down the road. But, Brown’s $16.7 million cap hit emptied the Chiefs’ war chests, taking up a good portion of the Chiefs’ cap space. Without an extension. the Chiefs couldn’t re-sign veterans like cornerback Charvarius Ward, defensive end Melvin Ingram, or safety Tyrann Mathieu. While some of those players were unlikely to return, Kansas City’s lack of cap space turned a probability into a certainty. The Chiefs could have used that cap space flexibility to retain Ingram, add another veteran wide receiver, or bolster a young defensive backfield. But Brown’s franchise tag made those moves unlikely. If Brown was dominating so far this season, the franchise tag would seem like a discount. However, Brown is not even playing up to that salary, much less the one he felt he deserved this summer. After Week 4, Brown was amongst the worst offensive tackles in the league. His nine quarterback hurries allowed is tied for the league’s worst mark, while he ranks in the bottom five for quarterback hits allowed, pressures allowed, and sacks allowed. Again, take it for what it is worth, but Brown’s 54.9 PFF grade for pass blocking ranks 48th amongst offensive tackles. Right now, Brown is not worth the historic deal Kansas City offered him this offseason. Granted, Brown still has time to turn things around. There are 13 regular season games left, and Brown has faced some of the league’s best pass rushers so far. The schedule gets a little more forgiving for Brown’s one-on-one matchups, but the fact remains that Brown looks like a weak link on the offensive line. A positive change in his performance will make this offseason’s negotiations even more awkward.
  7. Its sad alright. LOL Misery in Denver Ha Ha.
  8. Shuster has been a bit like Watkins the past couple of seasons. Hope this is not a trend. Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (quad, hamstring) is questionable for Week 5 against Las Vegas. "I think he'll be fine," head coach Andy Reid said when asked about Juju's game day status. Smith-Schuster had been a full participant in practice this week until Saturday, when a hamstring injury forced a limited session. The de facto WR1 in Kansas City has played the second most snaps at the position this year (67.4%) as the team attempts to fill the void left by the departure of Tyreek Hill this offseason. He'll be a low end WR3 against a Raiders team allowing 34.7 fantasy points per game to opposing wide r
  9. This is such a funny. Great take Originally posted by wolf754life View Post Truth! real talk! Dude. You're a disaster porn junkie. It's like when a whale carcass sinks to the bottom of the sea and all those hagfish, crabs and assorted scavengers descend upon it, gnawing away, piece by piece, until there are only the bones lying on the seabed. Carrion eaters. When the Broncos start winning again, you'll drift away, waiting for another loss, when you can return again and feed. Most Broncos fans are miserable about what's going on with the team. You're celebrating.
  10. More on the Misery in Denver. Some paid over $300 10-07-2022, 08:49 AM went to the game last night and all of us Bronco fans were talking about how this is the quietest most subdued we have ever seen the stadium and that was in the first half. It was a fun game but only because it was like everyone was supporting each other in misery. I have never seen anything like it and I have been to plenty of games. The stadium at one point started chanting go San Diego when the Broncos offense were on partly in jest to the ref but in part making fun of the offense and trying to find any fun in that game. It truly was sad.
  11. Donkeys Board. Reaction to Wilson trade has 1572 responses. .Over the top excitement and all how awesome the deal was blah blah blah. Broncos Rule. Greatest deal in team history. Denver will win 3 more SB in the next 5. Dynasty coming. You know the rest. LOL No I did not read that entire thread. Saving some of it for weekly good laughs over the next 5 years or so. LOL
  12. Practice squad depth and special teams. Most PS players are seldom even claimed by other teams. So yes KC playing with the PS based on current injuries depth etc. No big deal. Could also be guys they need on the practice team based on upcoming games like Buff.
  13. Seems not torn. Did some practice. Too soon to panic.
  14. No worries you can fix it all in the draft. Oh my apologies. I forgot you have no high picks for the next 2 years. So I guess that by the time you have some decent picks the defense may be mostly retired or lost in free agency. No problem Wilson will still be the QB as a complete rebuild begins. Oops my bad again. Wilson will be 36 years old by then and prepping for his next big contract at ESPN. So how do you fix this?
  15. Ron Darby out for season. Today, 10:51 AM Add him to the list…torn ACL. When it rains it pours… Garrett Bolles Broken Leg Yesterday, 10:15 PM Mike Klis is reporting that Garrett Bolles has a broken right leg? Wow. Glad we didn't play our starters in preseason, otherwise we might be experiencing massive injuries....... The
  16. No team, including KC is 2 or 3 players away from a dynasty. Why? Because roster turnover is guaranteed by the salary cap and free agency. Imagine Kelce getting injured or early retires? Injuries to star players change a team in a moment. A few teams may be a few players away from one SB Win but dynasty not so much.
  17. Best comment I read on the Broncos board. " Its over. I'm done. Let Putin nuke us all."
  18. First of all he has success. He is in the NFL. Its nice to have a guy willing to play a role and not screaming about targets and other BS. Teams need good role players. He also has made a lot of big plays. Remember the kick return that got KC back into that Houston playoff game. Every defense must account for his speed. So even as a decoy he is valuable. 693 receiving yards last year is good. He is not the GUY. He does ad value. Lets see what happens when he is 100%. ill take 693 again. Those stats dont include his sweeps and special teams stats. 19. Maybe PM did not see him? I know hard to believe PM could make a mistake.
  20. The guy is playing hurt. Yes its a contract year. Maybe he doesnt get the big bucks. OK. He could stay on a low contract. I never get the Hardman hate. Its not like he is earning huge dollars. He is a good role player and punt returner. Its not his fault Hill was an ass and KC drafted him out of huge need. I like Hardman and expect hill will get some big plays down the stretch. Its not like MVS is lighting it up. Another Article for Your Consideration https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/10/7/23391978/chiefs-raiders-wr-mecole-hardman-not-worried-about-heel-injury-lingering
  21. Clark is what he is. Its seems he is holding the edge and taking a little pressure off Jones. Seems to play the run ok. Gets pressure just not sacks. Not worth the contract but KC was paying that anyway. At least he took a pay cut.
  22. Its actually fun reading this thread on the Broncos Board. I used to go to Denver often on business. It was Bronco stuff everywhere. Maybe they can return their stuff at Walmart? https://forums.denverbroncos.com/forum/broncos-football/broncos-football-aa/8430115-official-game-day-thread-2022-week-5-colts-vs-broncos/page55
