  1. The Genius Reid has not figured it out after 3 seasons.
  2. TB 27 KC 10 and of course I hope I am wrong. 45 year old Brady will pick this young defense apart unless KC somehow has an amazing pass rush. Even then he gets the ball out quick. KC offensive line is offensive and the TB D is real. No Hill so double Kelce and then man to man. Leaves the dline free to get after Mahomes and expose the guy playing left tackle.
  3. I hope Townsend is working on his passing game.
  4. Chiefs ruled out Harrison Butker (ankle) for Week 4 against the Bucs. He'll miss his third straight game. The Chiefs released Matt Ammendola last week after missing a field goal and extra point in Sunday's loss. Matthew Wright was promoted from the practice squad to replace Bu
  5. The Cover Up Continues https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/9/30/23381095/chiefs-colts-frank-clark-wont-say-what-chris-jones-said-to-matt-ryan-in-indianapolis
  6. Agree 100%. Thats why I think it was off the charts bad. Way beyond the normal trash talk. We will never know.
  7. So some seem to think that at that point in a game a player can say anything , no matter how vile etc, and no flag should be thrown? Clearly the NFL does not agree. Hey I am no nfl dictatorship supporter. Would be nice if Jones would share. Seems he is taking the 5th. LOL
  8. True. But: If I were a KC Player, or Coach I would say something , if it was no so bad, even if I got fined. Jones has no comment. Other players heard what he said on both teams. The head official could over rule the flag if they discussed it as a group. It was a critical change of possession call. The game was over. You are correct we will never know.
  9. Agree. But we dont know what he said. It was likely extremely awful or someone on KC , like Jones, would be telling us what was said proving your point. NO comment to me says it all.
  10. Good points. I think it was likely very not nice! Big moment in the game. Ref well aware of the situation and consequences to the outcome. Im not a conspiracy guy. I think most people are honest and want to do the right thing. You dont see Jones saying much. I think he knows, KC knows, the other refs know and the league knows it was nasty.
  11. Bottom line for me is Jones is ignorant for even saying any shit. The game was over. Yes its a huge potential loss for home field etc. I think he is being given a pass by the press and the team.
  12. After some review and thought I think Brady will pick this secondary apart. Bit by Bit. Without Gay, even though Harris looked good, the middle of the field could be wide open. Chiefs dont have the quick passing attack they need. PM simply wont stay with it. Reid wont run the ball. TB wins by 10.
  13. MARQUEZ VALDES-SCANTLINGWR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Marquez Valdes-Scantling (abdomen) did not practice Thursday. It's yet another mid-week downgrade to be aware of. Valdes-Scantling was technically at the practice, but didn't have his helmet. The downgrade puts his expectation for Week 4 to truly questionable ahead of Friday's practice.
  14. Onward to the next contest. Putting this one away.
  15. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/9/29/23375951/chiefs-injuries-analyzing-lucas-niangs-patellar-tendon-rupture-and-his-potential-return The common thread when comparing each player’s recovery is at least a 10-month rehab from the date of injury to the player’s return. Here, Conklin should be viewed as the guideline when gauging Niang’s return to the field — given they play the same position and that Conklin’s injury occurred less than two months prior to Niang’s; so surgical methods were likely to be similar. Conklin returned to the field and started every snap for the Cleveland Browns last week, nearly 10 months to the day following his injury. It also should be noted that Conklin did practice with the team in training camp; he was not immediately rushed back to a regular- season game. Given the recent history of this particular injury in the NFL — and the fact that Niang has not yet returned to the practice field — the most realistic return timeframe would most likely be late October to early November. This should be viewed as a best-case scenario. Anything sooner than this would be bucking the recent NFL trends. Given the importance of depth at Niang’s position — and especially considering the team’s hit-or-miss offensive line play to begin the season — this might be unsettling news. In the long run, however, it is more important that Niang isn’t rushed back to the playing field too soon. In the past, this has been a devastating injury for other players. So it is in the best interest of the player (and the team) to make sure Niang is fully recovered before he returns.
  16. Reid also provided several injury updates, with three players out of the mix due to injury or illness on Wednesday. “Michael Danna won’t practice [Wednesday] with the calf,” started Reid. “Mecole Hardman has a heel contusion he’s been battling through. We’re going to sit him down [Wednesday]. And then I think he’s going to be OK, but we’re just going to rest that thing [Wednesday]. Ronald Jones is sick, so we’re going to send him home, get him out of there. Other than that, Harrison Butker will go ahead and do a little bit [on Wednesday] and we’ll just play it by ear with that as we go. Everybody else is practicing.” Danna injured his calf near the end of the Chiefs’ Week 2 Thursday Night Football win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and he has not practiced since. Hardman has been working through his heel injury since the same game. “I think the heel was affecting him a little bit this past week,” said Reid of Hardman. “Up to that point, I thought he was playing fast and running the stuff he was supposed to run a
  17. One less pass rusher to worry about. Chargers placed Joey Bosa (groin) on injured reserve. Per Brandon Staley, Bosa suffered a torn groin in Week 3 and will undergo surgery. Staley said he expects Bosa to return this season. It's not the worst outcome for Bosa and the team, but it is another bad beat for a team that is being hammered by injuries. Bosa had 1.5 sacks, two TFLs, and a forced fumble while appearing in a little over two games. Free agent signing Khalil Mack will be asked to step up in Bosa's absence. Mack has four sacks already, so he should be up to the task
  18. I dont get the Hardman hate. The guy had decent stats in his role and makes a big play from time to time. He is a good decoy because of his speed. The twop guys ahead of him have not shown me much yet. Those two are expected to be the one & two. Hell Kelce dropped a TD Sunday. It happens.
  19. NO reason to think he should be a #1. He has never shown that level of talent. It was a desperate pick based on Hill situation. Chiefs wanted a speed guy to take the top off. He was never expected to be the guy. He is a decent #3 and punt return gadget guy. Not making a ton of money. Very useful role player.
  20. The Chiefs have added CB Nazeeh Johnson to the active roster from the practice squad. He takes the spot freed when the team released LB Elijah Lee. Lee has returned on the practice squad and joins new K Matthew Wright.
