  1. NFL is out of control. Its a misdemeanor. Enough said.
  2. Was injured , then had a mental boo boo and now this.
  3. Seems to me lots of teams are having issues scoring inside the 5.
  4. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/09/19/kc-chiefs-linebacker-willie-gay-suspended-4-games/ According to Nate Taylor of The Athletic, the suspension comes in response to the misdemeanor charge brought about by an arrest for property damage stemming from an argument with his son’s mother back in January. Gay was arrested back in January after an altercation in which a vacuum cleaner, a wall, and other items were damaged. Earlier this summer, Gay reached a plea deal on the entire affair which allowed him to enter a diversion program for 12 months. Instead of going through a prolonged process with a jury involved and potential jail time, Gay now has to undergo counseling, pay fines, and take drug tests. On top of that, however, the NFL has now decided to suspend Gay in the midst of a season that’s already underway. The timing feels funny, but the Chiefs are going to have to roll with it.
  5. Even so its still a lot of money. My point is the Herbert situation is not clear. There is no short window and then all the teams with top QBs will suffer. Now the Charger brass may screw it up but its not certain.
  6. This is what was said about KC. Wait till they have to pay PM. Well that has not happened. Good teams find a way to thrive. Veach has been a difference maker. There are other good front offices too. We shall see who rises to the top and who falls. Drafts will be more the key than QB salaries.
  7. Run it 35 times and win by 14? Hell they cant open a hole inside the 5. So you would take the ball out of Mahomes hand 75% of the plays?
  8. Ok your crazy. D is loaded? Yes if they are smoking dope. Yes there is some up and coming young guys but for a 99 yard pick 6 last nights game is very different. This D is average at best. Fenton is ? Sneed showed some promise year one but has slipped some? Yes the rookie Dbs could become special but not yet. Pass rush has improved but hardly loaded.
  9. Good points. Of course the Chargers also have lots of new players that they think will keep getting better. I give KC the leadership edge and playoff experience edge. Should be a great exciting season. AFC West will be nuts.
  10. Yes. Almost every fan base, including KC, will blame the calls, the drops, the ints , tip passes , the weather etc for a loss. Yes KC was a bit lucky in this game. Chargers had plenty of chances to put this game away and did not. They did not make enough big plays to win. Herbert injury did not help but again KC put the hurt on him. Its funny. Most NFL fans give all the credit to their player that has made a great play or score. When the other team makes a great play or score those same fans find blame vs giving the other team and player credit.
  11. I can remember the days KC almost never scored 27.
  12. 118 With 74 yards rushing (9.4 yards per carry) and 44 yards receiving (11 yards per catch), Clyde Edwards-Helaire was by far the most impactful offensive player of the game. Say what you will about the fact that his 52-yard run made up the majority of his production on the ground, but we are undoubtedly in the early stages of his break-out campaign. He had 74 all-purpose yards and 2 touchdowns last week, so Thursday’s performance should cement him as the guy moving forward.
  13. The $79 NFL+ is worth it. Watched the replay 5 minutes after the end.
  14. Happy KC won. They were very very lucky to do so. Team will get better each game so great to be 2-0. Rather be lucky than unlucky like the Chargers were.
  15. You are a true KNOWS IT ALL. Insider info too. Surprised your not a sideline reporter or have your own pod cast. LOL.
  16. Well if the Chiefs loose this board will become extremely active. Misery loves company and unfortunately negative news gets attention. Im hoping for a big KC win. I dont watch or listen to THE SHOWS so I dont care what they say one way or the other. Its a game. Its entertainment. This game and this division should be entertaining all year long. ENJOY
  17. Im glad Mahomes is not thinking the past is the present. He has been planning for a very improved Charger team for months. Like it or not this is a formidable team. Going to be a different division for years to come. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/9/14/23352889/chiefs-chargers-andy-reid-patrick-mahomes-talk-about-preparation When the Chargers made the move to acquire Mack this offseason, it was easy to point to Mahomes as the reason Los Angeles felt the need to make the move. When you ask Mahomes, he believes it was more about the entire division’s level of quarterback play. “I mean not just me, we have great quarterbacks in this division in general,” Mahomes countered. “So you saw everybody in this division get pass rushers so they can get out there and get after the quarterback and make it hard on us. But Khalil [Mack] is a great player. I mean obviously they have Bosa already with a lot of other guys that go out there and can rush the passer. They have a good defense everywhere.” “I’m just sad Khalil came back man. I though he was out of the AFC West but now he’s back getting sacks again.” Mack’s comeback to the AFC West allows the Chargers to get after the quarterback with just a four-man rush. It’s something they will likely lean on against Kansas City, knowing it’s not smart to blitz Mahomes extensively.
  18. The headline of the final injury report for the Chiefs is that kicker Harrison Butker (ankle) has been ruled out for the game. The Chiefs plan to start kicker Matt Ammendola, who won a “kicker derby” this week and spent it on the practice squad; he’ll be elevated for the game. Right guard Trey Smith (ankle) is officially questionable, but the fact that he would have been a full participant at Wednesday’s practice indicates he is a good bet to play Thursday night. If he cannot play, expect Nick Allegretti to fill in at right guard. Cornerback Trent McDuffie (hamstring) has been placed on injured reserve, and so he will miss at least the Thursday night game against the Chargers and the three games to follow. Since McDuffie is on the injured list, he does not appear on the injury report. The rest of the Chiefs on the injury list — including Patrick Mahomes (left wrist) — have no designation and should be good to go. On the Los Angeles side, tight end Donald Parham Jr. (hamstring) and wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) have been ruled out. Allen, the Chargers’ top weapon, is a significant loss. Cornerback J.C. Jackson (ankle) is questionable as he looks to make his 2022 season debut.
  19. Yes I knew that. My point was the Raiders only had one good pass rusher.
