  1. Still need holes opened. So far not really there. Its not the backs. Its also just camp. Too early to say dline is better or rbs are worse.
  2. Andy is a fantastic leader of men. Its his ability to motivate and how he treats people that is his strength. I think is is a great coach and do not think he is the best coach. One of the best no doubt. So happy he is in KC.
  3. I think they keep three. Jones is cut. No trade value. No big deal. KC will never run the ball enough with Reid as head coach. Like he has stated many times. " A three yard toss is as good as a run".
  4. To get to 80 players, the Chiefs placed RB Derrick Gore (thumb) on injured reserve, ending his season. OL Lucas Niang (knee) has been placed on reserve/PUP. The earliest Niang can come back is Week 5.
  5. Chiefs placed RB Derrick Gore (thumb) on injured reserve. The designation will end Gore's season (with the Chiefs, at least) before it begins. Gore had a couple of 40-plus yard games in 2021, adding two rushing touchdowns, but the Chiefs buried him on the depth chart by signing Ronald Jones and re-signing Jerrick McKinnon. His absence unclouds the picture at running back for the Chiefs a bit. 28 in December, Gore is no lock to remain on the roster.

  7. Chiefs announce tight end Blake Bell had hip surgery Head coach Andy Reid wouldn’t commit to whether or not the team would place Bell on injured reserve.

  9. JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTERWR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters that JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) has "turned the corner" and should be fine for the regular season. Smith-Schuster hasn't practiced since last Monday, but it doesn't sound like the injury will be a real problem. New to Kansas City, Smith-Schuster should see targets in the middle of the field and is probably the favorite to lead the Chiefs wideouts in targets early in the season. His AD
  10. Maybe a trade with NY.? They have no real threats. The Athletic's Dan Duggan believes TE Ricky Seals-Jones should be the Giants starter when healthy. Seals-Jones, who signed with New York after one season in Washington, has missed nearly all of training camp with an undisclosed injury. Daniel Bellinger has worked as the team's starting tight end for much of camp and in preseason games. He's been mostly disastrous, recently dropping a pass from Daniel Jones that resulted in an interception against the Bengals. Seals-Jones could have some fantasy relevance in 2022 simply because the Giants have the worst tight end grouping in the NFL
  11. Stallworth’s preseason performance does not help. Stallworth has been the Chiefs’ worst-graded defensive tackle against the Commanders, according to PFF. Other players such as Khalen Saunders, Tershawn Wharton, and Shelton are all firmly ahead of Stallworth as of right now. At best, Stallworth is Kansas City’s DT6, and the Chiefs do not carry six defensive tackles on the 53-man roster. Stallworth is likely a prime trade candidate, as other teams will see his value. Stallworth has still applied five pressures this preseason, albeit against second- or third-string offensive linemen. If the Chiefs can recoup a conditional pick, such as a sixth- or seventh-round selection, that would be ideal. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/08/22/five-chiefs-players-barely-hanging-onto-roster-spot/4/
  12. Pete Sweeney @pgsween It’s been confirmed the Chiefs have waived CB Brandon Dandridge, DB Nasir Greer and OG David Steinmetz. The roster stands at 82.
  13. On Monday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that they would be without six players due to injury as they take the practice field to begin the week: tight end Blake Bell (hip), defensive end Carlos Dunlap (Achilles), running back Derrick Gore (thumb), offensive lineman Lucas Niang (knee) and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee).
  14. I think KC matches up well to move a RB and Receiver to Chic. That team has suffered injuries at both positions. Maybe Jones?
  15. Good points. So would you roster 3 or risk losing him on waivers?
  16. Hard to evaluate when he is playing with back ups. He has some Gannon in him. Thats what I like. Henne is proven a career loser. So there is that. Thats my opinion. I dont need to debate it. I dont need to be right. KC will keep Henne. I trust their decision. I dont root against Henne. I hope he is the best in the league if he remains #2.
  17. You are likely correct. Nobody knows for sure. If Reid stays with Henne its likely because he does not trust anyone else.
  18. Your so fixated on this. I really dont care. I simply think Beuchele has real potential. Its not a fantasy or even a criticism. Its an observation from a fan. Hey if it makes your day to focus on this then hurray for you. LOL Heaven forbid anyone should bring up a discussion topic on this board. Bottom Line: I trust KC Mngt decisions a lot more than my observations.
  19. Interesting? Buechele playing with the 2s and Henne sitting this game. Aug 18, 2022 @pgsween · Follow Replying to @pgsween QB Shane Buechele and QB Dustin Crum ran the second and third-team offenses, servicing the first-team defense. Buechele is expected to be in after Mahomes on Saturday vs. the Washington Commanders. Crum will be the third QB up. Backup Chad Henne will get the game off.

  21. Me too. Even the Chiefs must have felt the same way. He got several more years out those two games. The Raiders thought so too. LOL I guess they got all the KC secrets from him and sent him packing.
  22. Exactly. So the rest of that year was not great.
