  1. Thanks. It may still be worth it freeing up a roster spot?
  2. Im sure you are correct. It may, however , force KC to take up an extra roster spot for that 3rd QB. Maybe keep Henne as a coach? Did Kc not call on a veteran QB , Matt Moore, off the street in 2019 and win games?
  3. I still think Beuchelle is capable. All the salary issue shows is KC may have made a mistake signing an old guy like Henne to this contract. Hey..... but thanks again for your amazing insight and expertise.
  4. Chiefs do not need Henne. He can be on speed dial. Beuchelle is a very capable back up. Cut Henne saves around 4 million I think?
  5. Rookie RB Isiah Pacheco is running routes from the slot in training camp. “He’s got a little juice,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said of Pacheco. “The things you’re guaranteed of are that he’s going to run hard. Will he have to learn the different schemes and how they work against certain defenses and at times be patient? He’ll learn that. But he’s going to run hard. He’s a good catcher. The rest of all that, we can work with, and he’s doing that now. He’s learning the feel of it.” Pacheco has run with the first-team Kanas City offense during a training camp that has seen him catch coaches' and beat writers' attention. Pacheco, a four-year contributor at Rutgers who turned heads with a 4.37 forty at the Combine at 5'11" and 215 pounds, should secure a spot on the Chiefs' final 53-player roster because he profiles as the team's top kick returner. Pacheco's emergence could put Ronald Jones' and Jerick McKinnon's roster spots in jeopardy.
  6. Im not so sure and he may be an attitude issue. Not sure about Cap room? Not sure CEH would get much? Hunt wants a bigger contract.
  7. He has not done much in Cleve. I think KC is deep at RB. KC Cap Room? I think he is at 6 million?
  8. Your calculator or calendar must be messed up. KC has had a long look at this guy. Gives him a chance to get a job somewhere else. ONWARD
  9. KC likes to give guys time to catch on somewhere else. We also know nothing about his attitude effort etc. KC does not take player issues public. There is a reason Veach & Co added so many faces to the secondary this offseason.
  10. The Kansas City Chiefs have decided to release cornerback Deandre Baker early in the preseason, per Adam Teicher. It’s been a disappointing stint for Deandre Baker during his time with the Kansas City Chiefs, and now that the team has loaded up on an abundance of new players in the offseason, the franchise has decided to release the veteran cornerback early in training camp—a move that will allow him to find a new opportunity with plenty of time to compete.
  11. Nick Jacobs @Jacobs71 Really impressed with Orlando Brown today in the 1 on 1 drill. The weight loss has helped him tremendously with his foot quickness. #Chiefs #ChiefsCamp
  12. I dont hate Brown. Thats absurd. I hope he plays all world and KC goes 17-0 on the way to another Championship. I would never root against a KC player. I dont need to be correct. I like winning much better.
  13. Yes you are correct but that means nothing. Its a discussion board. Nobody here has any influence on what will happen. Its also not important to me to be correct. This is entertainment. Its football. Its fan blabber. If it makes you feel better that your opinion is supported that is fantastic. Should be another awesome season to be a chiefs fan.
  14. Ok well I have made my position clear and many may not agree. Thats what a discussion board is about. At this point I will do all a favor and STOP BEATING A DEAD HORSE. HaHaHa.
  15. Maybe not but giving elite money is no guarantee either. Chances are the guy gets the big contract and does not perform. See Frank Clark and Hitchens to name a few.
  16. The entire oline was injured. Tampa was also a better team at that time. It score wasnt close. So it was more than just the oline. Point. That was the KC team then. The team is completely different now. So that comparison is not apples to apples. So if we want to look back? How about last year AFC Championship game. KC gets basically shut out in the second half and the defense cant get to the QB who was sacked 9 times the game before thus blowing a big lead. So how did that work out?
  17. Honestly I do not. I am aware. I just simply dont feel giving Brown a massive contract will be a good idea. If he is truly elite, to be determined, then we shall see what KC brass decides to do. Only they know the real insider info and true cap situation. Only they know what their long term plan looks like.
  18. Im happy you enjoy these little GIFs so much. You never give any real insight or your personal views. Just Gif. Maybe you are the Gifster? Whatever gets you to your happy zone. LOL
  19. Hopefully improved. Unproven at this point. Pass rush will still be critical.
  20. Not really. The entire oline was a mess. An average tackle next to Thuney and the rest of this current oline would be a different . Hey Brown has not shown he is elite. Not close. He wants elite money. Even if he suddenly becomes elite I would look for other players. Survey the situation at that time. Nobody, fans, knows who may become available or who is available. Veach/Reid will know. We shall see if Veach/Reid survey the choices next off season and keep Brown or send him packing. I trust their decisions.
  21. Im looking at the current team and dont see the need for an elite LT. How many true Elite LTs are there? Oh by the way....dont care what all the talking heads say.....dont need to be right or wrong about it. Its a conversation based on worthless opinions. Chiefs D is looking better for the future. Lots of young, unproven talent. Hey if Karlaftis is a world beater I may change my focus. Clark will be gone and Jones is not getting younger.
  22. True but it does not mean KC has to keep him at huge expense. See Tyrek Hill. LT is not that important to me. KC can win with a decent LT. Does not need to pay elite money.
