  1. MIKE WILLIAMSWR, LOS ANGELES CHARGERS Mike Williams (back) has been ruled out for the Wild Card round.
  2. During the playoffs Andy should be finding EB a different job? really?
  3. He may be to blame but he is not a dumb ass. If a KC starter had been hurt in that 4th quarter hell would have been raised.
  4. The point was he is not a dumb ass. Team is 10-7 with tons of injuries. He lacks some experience and like every HUMAN can learn from mistakes. Was that not Andy Reid playing starters, including Mahomes, in the 4th quarter of a game that was well in hand? I saw Mahomes take a sack and held my breath.
  5. I dont think he is a dumb ass. Team went 10-7 with about 20 injuries and several all stats out. He may lack experience in big games but you dont go 10-7 being a dumb ass.
  6. KC facing the Chargers will not be easy. Any of these four teams can go all the way.
  7. So how many current NFL Qbs match up with PM and Herbert? Not many. Then you have SF starting Mr Irrelevant and winning. Some are picking SF to win the SB with the last guy drafted. A great coach can win with Wilson and all those weapons. I dont see the QB situation as a big negative in Denver. Great Job Great City Nice Climate and in the center of the country so you are not making those coast to coast road trips. Hackett was a complete joke. Then there is the unlimited money that the new ownership brings. Thats all around better coaches, facilities, trainers etc. Finally: Denver can pay 20 million per year or more for a coach. Money talks. The just ate millions firing Hackett. So they hire a coach for a huge guaranteed contract and it does not work out? They eat that money too and dont blink.
  8. Im picking the Jags to beat the Chargers. Chargers coach still needs some experience.
  9. Salaries are going to continue be inflated. Teams will be forced to over pay for proven talent. The idea that the cap is going up so WE will have more to spens is a misconception. KC has the best approach. Dont want to be that ALL IN then crash & burn team like the Rams. Maybe Balt already knows they are not giving Jackson a new contract?
  10. Do teams see Reid as the real OC? Do they discount EB contributions because Mahomes is the QB?
  11. Broncos new ownership has yet to be tested. My guess is they will be very good. Money talks and they have unlimited resources. Lots of people love the Denver area and it has a top regional airport. So players, coaches , management and their families will see the Denver Area as a positive. Wilson is not as bad as he has looked. Heck SF is in the playoffs with MR Irrelevant as their QB. Hard to believe the last guy drafted is now setting records as an NFL QB on a playoff team. I think Wilson will return to above average, Denver comes back as a potential wild card next season and builds from there. I expect they will hire a top head coach and then fire their GM so that coach can have a say in who is hired.
  12. I think the word is out from the past and he has not interviewed well. Maybe teams dont want KC to get extra picks.
  13. Looks like KC is looking for a return guy. Hosting speed receiver types. Likely will let Hardman walk and not want to use Toney and Pachecko on ST. Veach already working on next years team.
  14. JOHN ROSSWR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs signed WR John Ross to a reserve/future deal. The former No. 9 overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft will enter the offseason as a member of the Chiefs. Ross missed all of 2022 after spending 2021 with the Giants, where he went for 11/224/1. Ross has played in just 21 regular season games since 2019 and has never gone for more than 506 yards in any individual season. He'll need to put in a lot of work this offseason if he hopes to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster come next season.
  15. Most fans are not on these forums. Its not the reason. 99.99% dont participate online in Chiefs Planet or Coalition or other NFL forums. Online comments also do not represent the majority of fans. Twitter is for twits. Online is not representative of most fans. I watch many games at sports bars etc. I wear my KC Jersey lots of places. I have never had anyone make a mean spirited remark about the Chiefs. OH By THE WAY. Every forum I visit is the same mostly negative BS. They are all the same. A bunch of Rabid Fans behaving badly. LOL
  16. A very small percentage of NFL fans pay any attention to online forums. Just look at the actual participation. It is not significant. Not even 1%. If you are not a Chiefs fan you probably get tired of all the talking heads BS and publicity the Chiefs get.
  17. From a Raider Forum They can remember all they want, they arent going to do shit about. The Raiders will end up working for the Chiefs at their dads Mercedes dealership and the Chiefs will make fun of the raiders in the lunch room in front of the other teams, and flick their ear everytime the walk by. Then at the christmas party the Chiefs are going to screw the raiders nerdy little girlfriend in the dealership bathroom, then send her away with toilet paper stuck to her shoe, and the raiders aren't going to do a damn thing about it. Apparently KC didn't forget the victory lap around Arrowhead
  18. On Saturday, the Kansas City Chiefs closed out the regular season with a dominating 31-13 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders to go 14-3 and claim the AFC’s first-round bye. Here are some of the things Tom Ruprecht overheard during the victory. “Chad, can you close this one out? Patrick has tickets to see Wayne Newton at the Flamingo.” “I found a case of black eyeliner. Did Derek Carr leave a forwarding address?” “Actually, the Derek Carr-Davante Adams marriage lasted about as long as most Vegas marriages.” “This rivalry is starting to resemble the one between the Harlem Globetrotters and Washington Generals.” “See that guy painted silver wearing a black costume covered in spikes and skulls? He’s a Raiders fan — or ChiefsAholic has found a new bank-robbing disguise.” “Forget Josh McDaniels. The first person Mark Davis needs to fire is his barber.” “Ring-around-the-Rosie? The Chiefs are now doing their touchdown celebrations before the score.” ‘McDaniels said he wasn’t embarrassed or insulted by ring-around-the-Rosie? Damn. That was the whole point!” “14-3? Not bad for a rebuilding year.” “We just got a week off and we’re in Vegas. What could go wrong?” “Frank Clark has joined the long list of men who’ve suffered a groin ailment after a weekend in Vegas.”
  19. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports "the Broncos plan to interview Jim Harbaugh for their head coaching job early this week." Harbaugh has flirted with a return to the NFL in recent years, and the Broncos, now under new management, have the checkbook to make him a lucrative offer. They are also interviewing former Saints head coach Sean Payton for the gig. Harbaugh would be joining a roster saddled with Russell Wilson's contract and few draft picks, but his relationship with Michigan has been on shaky ground in recent years. A massive payday and a return to the pros could be worth taking on a questionable job in Denver. Harbaugh has also reportedly talked with Panthers owner David Tepper about Carolina's head coaching vacancy.
  20. Honestly I dont like it. Its showing up the other team. Doesnt really fool anyone. Arrogant?
