  1. Well that appears correct as I think 2 other punters were picked before him. But you know 84 Yards is still 84 Yards. Inside the 20 is still inside the 20. So you receive the punt on the 5 yard line instead of the 25 and have 2o yards more to run. The extra 20 yards running also takes time. It also gives top speed punt team guys a chance to get down field too. Will be interesting to see how he does. Im sure the Bills are happy to have him.
  2. Give it a 10. Each pick is my favorite and each is a 10. This is a roster refresh vs rebuild. Done with perfect timing. Team may lose a few more games this season while the new guys get acclimated but no doubt this over all roster is better. Better by a big margin.
  3. The AFC has so many talented teams. Its going to be wild. That guy is a game changer.
  4. You are correct and other experts have made similar comparisons.
  5. Nah. Im just hoping KC can figure out how to get a LT ready for next season through this draft or free agent next year so they dont put big money on Brown. He is a very good tackle but not elite. Im hoping these let the big contract guys walk moves , like Matheau and Hill and Ward, work out. Jones contract is up soon too.
  6. JOSHUA WILLIAMSDB, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs selected Rice CB Joshua Williams with the No. 135 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Williams (6’3/195) is a big-bodied guy from a D-II school that showed up in a big way at the Senior Bowl. While he played at a much lower level of competition, he looked like he belonged in coverage against a really good group of receivers. His athletic profile paired with his size and length is excellent. Williams achieved a relative athletic score of 9.44 with a 4.53 40-yard dash and an excellent 1.50-second 10-yard split. Williams is a very fluid mover that uses his size and length to his advantage with leverage and in contested catch situations. If he can overcome the level of competition and improve his footwork, he could be a steal in the fourth round.
  7. DARIAN KINNARDG, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs selected Kentucky G Darian Kinnard with the No. 145 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Kinnard (6’5/345) was a three-year starter at right tackle for Kentucky whose power was vaunted in the SEC. He’s a bully who is naturally powerful and wired with bad intentions. Kinnard has enormous, 99th-percentile hands, and he doesn’t let go in the run game once he’s latched on. He was an elite run-blocker in college, scoring 90.0-plus PFF grades in that area all three years on campus. He’s almost assuredly heading inside to guard at the next level due to his lateral-movement limitations. No amount of power could save Kinnard from getting his outside shoulder taken by elite speed rushers or getting crossed-up by quick counter-moves inside, something that will not be a concern inside. We see him as a Deonte Brown-like people-mover within a downhill-running offense.
  8. By Ron Kopp Jr. Strengths: Kinnard is a bully at right tackle — and he is able to do so because he’s a humongous human being. He carries it well — and it comes through in his measurables: he has an 86th-percentile wingspan, along with 98th-percentile hands— over 11 inches! On the field, he’s an absolute brick house. He isn’t taken off his anchor and always has a wide base to swallow rushers. His big hands come through in his game, controlling defenders and rarely being shed. He’s an absolute people mover; when he down-blocks, he paves a path — collapsing the defensive line. Weaknesses: His size makes it hard for him to get depth in his pass set, so speed rushers who fly off the ball can take advantage. He can hug a little too much, because he lacks the quickness and hand speed to keep up with sound technique; he did only have five-career penalties, however. At the next level, he might be a guard. How he fits with the Chiefs: I believe Kinnard can come in and immediately compete with Lucas Niang at right tackle. He and Niang are actually very similar players, but Kinnard might be more physically dominating — although Niang may be quicker on his feet. All that is to say that Kinnard is capable of contributing right away.
  9. 2023 Season he plays Left Guard Thuney to Left Tackle Brown not signed to that big contract
  10. I hope to never see or hear those two guys names again except when they are giving up big plays to KC.
  11. Ravens have 6 fourth round picks. I see Ravens as the best AFC Roster at this point. They had so many injuries lasy year and still competed. They have had a fantastic draft so far.
  12. Dont disagree yet this guy is a weapon & nothing is certain this late in the draft. KC has filled most immediate needs. Maybe they can package a couple or three #7 and move up.
  13. I would get him to keep him from the competition. Sure would hate to see him in the AfC West for the next 10-15 years.. ESPN has him as the 53 BPA at this point. I think he goes round 5. 158 S (16) Dane Belton Iowa 159 P (1) Matt Araiza San Diego St. 160 LB (15) Aaron Hansford Texas A&M
  14. You did not watch that video. Guy kicks from the end zone inside the other teams 20 on a regular basis. Its like a turn over. So now KC can take even more chances deep in their own territory. More chances third and long because they know this guy will get them out of trouble. One kick per game can be the game changer. Not expected to be the FG guy but kickers get hurt in games. Nice to know you have a back up. This guy will get drafted by someone and you will be eating your words. Watch the video.
  15. Punters seldom get drafted. This guy is worth a pick and Kc is deep enough to use one. I doubt he lasts much longer. Maybe Kc gets him with #5. He kicks 70 plus yards on a regular basis. Who over gets this guy will control field position for years to come.
  16. Did you watch that video? Its not that the current guy, Townsend, is Ass. Its that this guy , Araiza, is really special. Townsend is good and will get better. This guy is an immediate game changer.
