  1. I think the Raiders made that trade & contract knowing KC would have to trade Hill or suffer losing other guys. They get a top receiver and screw KC. Think about it.
  2. Hill will do one of his stupid back flips, pull a muscle and at 28 the injury bug starts its course. The guy is a little reckless.
  3. Veach likes to deal. I think the first four picks turn into two picks. I see him moving up not back.
  4. Thanks. This saves some time cause I can stop watching after the 4th round. Golf Course Early.
  5. Good points. Not underestimating how good Brady is or Mahomes. I think KC would win more championships with Bill & Mahomes. Dont want it just sayin.
  6. The Kansas City Chiefs are continuing to stay active after trading wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday. On Thursday, they hosted free-agent linebacker Jermaine Carter Jr. for a visit, according to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Carter, 27, first entered the league as a fifth-round pick made by the Carolina Panthers during the 2018 NFL Draft. Carter spent the first four years of his career with the Panthers before becoming a free agent this offseason. Over those four years, Carter appeared in 65 games, totaling 178 tackles (88 solo), including 88 tackles last season alone. Carter started all 17 games for the Panthers last season. He was listed as the team’s MIKE linebacker in 2021 but can do a little bit of everything. The Chiefs may see him as an upgrade over Ben Niemann, who remains a free agent. Carter also played 27% of special-teams snaps for the Panthers last season. Prior to becoming a starter on defense the three previous seasons, his special-teams snaps came out 57% or higher.
  7. Free agent DL Arden Key is visiting the Chiefs on Friday. This is Key's fourth visit of the offseason, as he's taken a whirlwind tour of the facilities in Detroit, Jacksonville, and Baltimore. Coming off an eight-sack season for the 49ers and set to play 2022 at only 26 years old, the young pass rusher has created a lot of interest in free agency.
  8. The point was he had Brady and would win more championships than Reid if he had Mahomes and this KC team.. I guess I could say Reid would have won less championships as the NE Coach with Brady. I dont like Billy BOy and dont want him in KC. No question he is the better head coach.
  9. Hoping he does well. Looks like KC does not have a true #1 now. RUN THE BALL REID
  10. Chiefs signed WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, formerly of the Packers, to a three-year, $30 million contract. $18 million comes in the first two years and the maximum value of the deal is $36 million. Valdes-Scantling missed some games for the first time this offseason, and thus had a 430-yard season, but he led the NFL in yards per reception in 2020 and has a career yards per reception of 17.5 in four seasons. This is probably a bit of an overpay for a wideout that doesn't offer much underneath, but it's good fantasy news for Juju Smith-Schuster and Travis Kelce. As for MVS, there are worse quarterbacks to work with in your career than Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes.
  11. I hope KC drafts a tackle to replace Brown. Hoping Veach is learning you dont trade high picks and then give a guy a huge contract.
  12. Still is not relevant to now. Hey I dont even like Brady or the Patriots. Bill would win more with this roster going forward than Reid. I like Reid and Im glad he is in KC. He has been outcoached in the AFC Champ Game and Last Superbowl. He stunk it up.
  13. Yes as would any coach with a back up playing. I dont like Bill at all. I do think he would win more championships with KC than Reid would.
  14. NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports the Chiefs have "inquired" about trading for Laviska Shenault. Shenault is believed to be on the trade block in Jacksonville with the new coaching staff in town and the splurge in free agency on Christian Kirk and Zay Jones along with re-signing Laquon Treadwell. Marvin Jones and Jamal Agnew are also still in the mix. The Jaguars need to move someone. Shenault is a former second-round pick who still has supporters around the league. Even before the trade of Tyreek Hill, the Chiefs needed wideout help.
  15. Yet there will be the , it takes time to learn this offense so the play book is vanilla, conversation/excuses. Will Reid really run the ball? Is Gray really going to be part of the offense? Can PM become Bradyesque and take the check downs?
  16. Hill after the catch is one of a kind. His ability to stop and start in warp speed is unmatched.
  17. He does not have to be Hill Part Two he is that deep threat that opens things up underneath.
  18. Geoff Schwartz Article on the Hill Trade https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/tyreek-hill-trade-puts-kansas-city-chiefs-at-clear-crossroads
  19. Thats interesting. No doubt Veach will ad Veteran Quality WR Talent
