  1. Agree. I think the Raiders over pay of Adams changed things. KC probably thought they could get Hill signed within reason. Still glad Veach made this deal.
  2. Yes and I think its more that teams know Reid wont commit to running the ball.
  3. Yes I guess based on that I agree. Reid is elite. So I will reset by saying BIll B is a level above the rest of the NFL Coaches.
  4. Agree: Dynasty? Andy Reid has proven he is not an elite coach. He gets out coached in and during the biggest games. Mahomes is the reason Andy has more success. So Beli-cheat is the #1 reason NE is always competitive. If Bill was the KC head coach the Dynasty would be a reality.
  5. I think this was the only choice. Who would KC have needed to cut or lose next year if they gave Hill 30 million per year? Who can they sign or extend now? Imagine if Hill and his 30 million is hurt. KC can ad 3-4 decent players for that money and got 5 picks. Not a risky move to me. A clear and brilliant move by KC. Im sure Reid had to approve this move so its not all on Veach.
  6. I think KC is in rebuild mode, knowing they can still compete with PM and still make the playoffs. Maybe even draft a left tackle to replace Brown next year. Maybe Thuney moves to left tackle next year. HB and Hill gone. Lots of picks this year and next year. Clark was really a 1.5 million fill in because KC was on the hook for the rest anyway.
  7. So can you use the insider info for making bets? Lucky to be in the gossip loop? Define lucky.
  8. Chiefs get to be the underdog now. Thats a good thing. Was better than keeping him one year and watching him play it safe and then walk.
  9. I am good with this. You simply can not pay everyone.
  10. Chiefs are trading six-time Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks: a 2022 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick, as well as 4th- and 6th-round picks in the 2023 draft, sources tell E
  11. Greenbay got a 1st & 2nd for Adams so a boat load does not seem realistic. Same agent.
  12. Especially the panty patrol. LOL. These days it is difficult to keep a team together. Im sure GB was not thrilled to lose Adams. These elite players see themselves as a brand, a business and not as much team mate. I thought HB played off tackles last season to avoid being injured. Its all about GREED and the OWNERS are greedy too.
  13. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Dolphins and Jets both "have trades in place" for Tyreek Hill. As Schefter puts it, it is now up to Hill to decide where he "wants to become the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history." Hill is reportedly "torn" on that decision. While the Dolphins appear to be much closer to playoff contention, Zach Wilson has a bigger arm than Tua Tagovailoa, and could theoretically be a better fit for Hill's downfield ability. Then again, Tagovailoa has shown more promise as a quarterback, and Hill would be well suited to rack up yards after the catch in Mike McDaniel's new offense. We should have a resolution on Hill's status shortly.
  14. As it turns out, Hill’s representation is Drew Rosenhaus of Rosenhaus Sports, the same agency that serves wide receiver Davante Adams, who was recently traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders. Adams contract with the Raiders was for five years and $140 million (including $22.75 million at signing and $42.9 million more in 2023), or $28 million per year. Our Jared Sapp recently wrote about how the Chiefs could use the Adams contract as a guide for signing Hill to a long-term extension. However, the news of the Chiefs allowing Hill to explore a trade suggests that he wants the same — if not more — money than Adams received from the Raiders. When figuring out compensation, it would be wise to look at the Adams trade as a baseline. The Raiders traded a first and second-round pick for Adams. Though, as suggested by Yahoo! Sports’ Charles Robinson, the Chiefs are likely looking for two first-rounders, with Hill being such an important part of the Kansas City offense. Hill being in Miami or New York by the end of the day seems imminent.
  15. Raiders reset the receiver market with that huge over pay.
  16. MONEY. He will say respect but its money. I doubt this happens. I think KC could use the franchise tag next year too? So Hill does not have much leverage.
  17. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs have given WR Tyreek Hill permission to seek a trade. Hill is in the last year of his contract with the Chiefs and has been in talks on a contract extension for weeks. Talks appear to have broken down. Adam Schefter reports that the Jets and Dolphins are already in "serious talks" to trade for Hill. Schefter has since added that other teams were approached about a trade but that the Jets and Dolphins have emerged as the finalists. Hill's next contract can be expected to be massive if he lands with a new team, but the 28-year-old is a game-changing presence who could do wonders for a young quarterback. The Chiefs are hosting Marquez Valdez-Scantling for a visit, who would help replace Hill's downfield abilities, but won't be able to fill his No. 1 wide receiver shoes. That may fall to Juju Smith-Schuster, who would rack up targets with Hill gone, but the former Steeler is several notches less explosive. With Hill gone, the Chiefs would be very likely to add a wide receiver in the draft, particularly since a trade is likely to land them significant draft capital. If Hill is traded it will be a downgrade for the entire Chiefs offense.
  18. So the complaint by KC fans was no number 2 for PM, that lousy oline etc. Well Oline got fixed and the #2 over all , was as effective as Watkins was. If Kelce or Hill went down would Mahomes suffer? Yes. PM needs tools too. If you argue no number three then its tools. Cant have it both ways. Burrow got sacked 51 times last year , beat KC twice and went to the SB. Josh Allen on this KC team would have it all. Wilson or Herbert on this team would rock and roll too. Put any of those Qbs on the KC roster and they would have success. Maybe not all are a good fit but thats a different topic.
  19. Good point. Maybe the fact they let Pringle go is about Powell. Its not like Pringle got big bucks.
