  1. My point isnt anything more than if the game is played today these guys are as good as Mahomes. Its not about yesterday. The question is AFC West Chargers Making Moves. The Chiefs no longer have the QB advantage in the division and have many other teams/QBs that are very competitive. Yes maybe the team is not as good as KC and maybe the team is not coached as well. Maybe? Individual Talent wise those QBs are as good.
  2. Chiefs signed JuJu Smith-Schuster, formerly of the Steelers, to a one-year, $10.75 million contract. Smith-Schuster announced the move himself. This move makes perfect sense for both sides. The Chiefs need a third option in the passing game behind Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, especially one that can operate underneath, and playing with Patrick Mahomes should rehab Smith-Schuster as he looks to cash in next year in free agency. Volume will be a concern, but Smith-Schuster has a path to WR3 value with the upside for more.
  3. PM has been awesome. I think those guys would all have success on the recent KC teams. These guys are all capable of winning today. Who knows about tomorrow. If the game is today they are all excellent.
  4. JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTERWR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs signed JuJu Smith-Schuster, formerly of the Steelers
  5. Not Carr. Brady, Rogers, Watson, Wilson, Burrow, Herbert, Allen, Stafford are all excellent. Stats dont tell the story. Systems and teams can make stats look better or worse.
  6. I think all three are equal. There are about 7-8 QBs that are on the same level as PM. I still want PM as KC QB. The playoffs have proven PM and the Chiefs are beat-able.
  7. Bears signed Byron Pringle, formerly of the Chiefs, to a one-year, $4 million contract. The $4 million is reportedly fully guaranteed. Pringle emerged as Kansas City's No. 2 wide receiver down the stretch last season, finishing with 42 catches for 568 yards and five touchdowns. He is a fine enough receiver, but he cannot be the only answer as the Bears look to improve the weapons around sophomore Justin Fields. As it stands now, especially given the contract, Pringle looks like the No. 2 wide out behind Darnell Mooney.
  8. Adams just got 28 million a year from the Raiders. How much will Hill want now?
  9. Adams is signing a new five-year, $141.25 million contract, making him the highest-paid wideout in the league. That is an eye-popping average-annual value of $28.25 million. How much will Hill get now? Raiders are ass.
  10. Raiders acquired WR Davante Adams from the Packers in exchange for two 2022 draft picks. One of the picks is the Raiders' first-rounder. As part of the deal, franchise-tagged Adams is signing a new five-year, $141.25 million contract, making him the highest-paid wideout in the league. That is an eye-popping average-annual value of $28.25 million. Long-term talks did not seem to be going particularly well between the Packers and Adams, but no one was really considering the possibility of a trade after Aaron Rodgers decided to return to Green Bay. He is now losing the player he called the best receiver he has ever had. In Adams' wake in Green Bay are Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb and Amari Rodgers. As for Adams' fit in Vegas, it is a massive quarterback downgrade, but Derek Carr and Josh McDaniels are going to understand the assignment: Get Adams the ball. Carr is also best at the same levels of the field as Adams, though he does not have Rodgers' finesse with getting the ball into tight spaces. Adams remains a clear-cut top-five WR1, but there will be a hit in production. Hunter Renfrow is the biggest fantasy loser, while it's also not great news for Darren Waller's ceiling. For what it's worth, Adams and Carr played together in college at Fresno State.
  11. Sure perhaps he is but if so not by much. Those guys are elite as well.
  12. No but that does not mean his is better than those guys. I think they are all about equal.
  13. At this point the division is up for grabs. Still a long off season and many more changes ahead. KC no longer has the advantage at QB over the Broncos or Chargers. All are very good.
  14. A Veach Guy? Free agent CB Jeff Gladney is visiting the Cardinals. Gladney was drafted 31st-overall by the Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was indicted on third-degree felony domestic violence charges after his rookie season and the team waived him. He missed the entire 2021 season but was found not guilty in court last week. Now facing no criminal penalties and no suspensions from the league, Gladney will be a name to monitor on the open market. He started 15 games as a rookie but allowed 8.3 yards per target and received a below-average coverage grade from Pro Football Focus. Expect a cheap, short-term deal from the Cardinals or any other team that takes a flier on the former first-round pick.
  15. The NFL announced it's compensatory draft picks Tuesday and the Saints and 49ers both added two third-round compensation picks. The 49ers got both third-round picks for the hirings of Robert Saleh and Mike McDaniel. The 49ers and Rams lead the way with five picks added. The defending champs add third-, a fourth-, and three sixth-round picks. The 49ers managed two third-, two sixth-, and two seventh-round picks. The Lions, Ravens, Browns, and Chiefs also each added a third-round pick https://twitter.com/MySportsUpdate/status/1503848538719105029?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet
  16. I think it created immediate cap relief. More money to sign guys now.
  17. 49ers signed CB Charvarius Ward, formerly of the Chiefs, to a three-year, $42 million contract. The deal includes $26.7 million guaranteed. Amongst the youngest of the big-name corners available, Ward arrives with a solid résumé as a three-year starter for the Chiefs. Although he is the author of only four career picks, Ward has been a strong presence on the outside. Whether he is ready to headline a secondary is another question, though the Niners also have 25-year-old Emmanuel Moseley in the fold. 2021 third-rounder Ambry Thomas is the No. 3 after an up-and-down rookie year, so it was certainly a position of need for the 49ers.
  18. I think they started with 60 million in cap space.
  19. Yep. Hard to get anyone for 1.2 million. Maybe year two is not guaranteed. Plus, I think, Kc saves cap room now instead of after June 1st. Thus the Reid signing.
  20. Veach is consistent. He prefers to handle the Chiefs biggest needs in free agency leaving the draft open to best players available. Hope he does not trade top picks this year. I like this signing. HB was over rated.
