Not if your defense get torched. Thats playing into Cinn game plan. They want to run it some to keep the pressure off Burrow. If behind they are going to be more predictable on offense and Spags can do his blitzing thing. I dont want to see Cinn with the lead.

Agree but unfortunately pay grade assures nothing. KC scored 28 in the first half last time. Hard to figure what happened in the second half. My view is the offense lost that game.

Chiefs must pressure , pressure, pressure Burrow. They need to get a lead so they can send the troops. KC secondary needs a pass rush for any reasonable success. Dont defer! Get the ball and get the lead.

I see KC winning 38-27. Cinn scores late. This game will not be close. Burrow is smug. Yes they won last time and that may be the last time for a long time. These guys take that stuff serious. Even Brady used negative press to get extra motivation and to motivate team players. . Any little edge can be a difference maker. So yes it can provide extra motivation. Same as incentive bonuses. Some guys play for that extra play off money. Not everyone makes 15 million plus per year.

Chiefs still getting no respect. Its all Allen, overtime rules, Bills are great, Burrow beat them before, Brady, Rogers, the squib kick and very little KC. In fact the miracle 13 second come back is a brief tid bit. Its more Bills blew it than Chiefs and Mahomes execution. Most QBs dont hit both of those completions.

Nice info. Yes Mahomes is on a different level especially when it matters most. Mr Clutch Meaningless Stats. Schedules are not even. Divisions are not even. Weather is a factor. Injuries are a factor. Game situations are different. A team playing from behind ,often, could look lousy running the ball because they are passing to catch up. Yards as a measuring stick? This goes on and on and on. A team giving up 20 more yards on the ground can drop 5-10 positions in run defense. You have teams like Balt that love to pad their stats buy running up the score. I think points allowed and scored is a more realistic measure and even that has huge flaws.

No easy answer. So if Buff got the ball & scored whats next? Then KC wins it , because they won the toss, drives kicks a field goal. There is no fair in sports. Bottom line. Teams should avoid OT like the plague. If the Bills D got a stop all they needed was a field goal. Thats not fair either. I read that Mahomes was watching the Brady series and watching film on Brady. Looks to me like he is more like Brady. Getting the ball out fast and taking less risks. He seems to take the play that gets him the first down vs the big play that may work but is a lower percentage of success. Especially on third down.

Yes they need to step up but do they have the talent to do it in a Championship Game vs a very good opponent? I dont see it. Chiefs D has not played well against good offenses.

Fenton has graded out really well. Hope he can go. Sneed may have been trying to do too much seeing how others were faltering. I even think Thornhill is average at best. The sign the high pick cast offs with potential did not work out. Hughes looks good on ST but not on D. Good think playoff Mahomes has showed up. Chiefs will need 40 to win Sunday.
