  1. At this point I see nothing trade-able. His stats are average at best. There are some free agents that can put up those numbers. This is the type of player Veach signs after they are cut. A high pick that did not work out with potential. Win some lose some.
  2. Not all of us agreed. Nothing against CEH but using that pick on a RB was not my idea of a smart move. I dont root against him at all. Its not his fault he was picked that high and went to a team that does not know how to use him or is not committed to a real running game.
  3. Todays NFL I would not draft a running back earlier than the 6th. Injured too often and guys are good enough off the street. Most teams are pass first , so defenses are playing pass opening holes for average backs to be productive. KC wont run anyway so why draft a guy. Just bring in 15 free agents and pick two or three.
  4. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) won't play in the Wild Card game against the Steelers. CEH tested his shoulder out with a limited practice on Wednesday but was unable to return to the field to close the week and thus ruled out. At this point, there's no guarantee he would be able to turn around for the Divisional Round even if the Chiefs advance. Darrel Williams, who coach Andy Reid said is expected to play, averaged 13.8 carries and 5 targets in six full games without CEH earlier this year and will be used as a bell-cow once again on Sunday night.
  5. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) was absent from the portion of Chiefs practice open to the media on Thursday. This would be a downgrade for the sophomore back after he got his week off on the right foot with a "limited" session on Wednesday. It is possible this is part of a pre-planned maintenance routine. It's also possible CEH's shoulder did not respond well to Wednesday's session. At this point, he should be considered genuinely questionable for Sunday night's game against the Steelers. Clarity might not be coming on Wednesday, where "DNP," "limited" or otherwise, he should earn a "Q" tag for the Wild Card Round. Darrel Williams (toe) was practicing Thursday.
  6. Darrel Williams (toe) was practicing again on Thursday. Williams was "limited" on Wednesday, and will likely remain so for Thursday. His continued participation comes as Clyde Edwards-Helaire was downgraded from "limited" to "DNP" Thursday. Williams could be needed to carry the load against the Steelers on Thursday evening, but CEH's status is genuinely uncertain. It is possible the Chiefs are being careful with his reps after such a long layoff. We will hopefully know more by the time official game designations are issued on Friday.
  7. Trade AFC Championship Opportunity for draft picks? Insanity.
  8. Darrel Williams (toe) practiced Wednesday. The Chiefs' offense should be at full strength for their first playoff game as Tyreek Hill, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and Williams were all at practice Wednesday. Andy Reid noted that they all "looked good." Williams will split the backfield with CEH if both are active for the team's Wild Card game against the Steeler
  9. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) practiced Wednesday. CEH suffered the shoulder injury in Week 15 and has been out ever since. With Darrel Williams playing well in his absence, it made little sense for the Chiefs to rush him back. Andy Reid said he "looked good" in practice Wednesday so we expect he will return for the team's WIld Card game against the Ste

  11. It will likely be CEH & Williams. Hope a few McKinnon gadget plays. During his usual Zoom press conference early Monday afternoon, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid had a few key injury updates to share. On Sunday night, the Chiefs will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL’s Wild Card round. As it turns out, the Steelers were the last team that running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire played against; he injured his shoulder during Kansas City’s Week 16 matchup with Pittsburgh. But after missing two games and six straight practices, Edwards-Helaire has a chance to return to the field this weekend. “He’s making great progress,” said Reid. “I think we’ll be able to get a little work out of him this week. We’ll see. We’ll see how the next couple of days go. He’s got a great attitude and wants to be out there.” And finally, Reid had an update on another injury that occurred during Saturday’s game — this on running back Darrel Williams, who missed the second half after injuring his toe. “Yeah. Darrel, his toe was sore,” said Reid. “It’s still a little tender, but he’s working through that. We’ll just see how he does this week, but I’d anticipate him going.”
  12. Tyreek Hill injured his heel warming up for the team’s game against the Denver Broncos on Saturday, seeing limited snaps in the game. Reid also had positive news when it came to his star wide receiver. “The heel was sore after the game, and it’s making a little progress the other way,” he said. “We’re anticipating he’s going to be OK to go. He’s another one that wants to play every snap he can.” And finally, Reid had an update on another injury that occurred during Saturday’s game — this on running back Darrel Williams, who missed the second half after injuring his toe. “Yeah. Darrel, his toe was sore,” said Reid. “It’s still a little tender, but he’s working through that. We’ll just see how he does this week, but I’d anticipate him going.” Having all three players healthy and fresh for the playoffs would give the Chiefs an obvious boost. The first official injury report of the week will be posted on Wednesday afternoon — when their respective practice statuses will be revealed.

  14. Chiefs should bring in most players let go by Balt. Even the no names. That team had so many injuries yet stayed competitive. Must be some hidden gems there somewhere.
  15. Almost 50% of teams are now play off teams. I look more at divisions. Would want to play the NFC North and AFC South. Some teams like Green Bay get easy wins because their division sucks. KC has benefited from weak teams in their division prior to this year.
  16. THE KC playoff team shows up. They have been waiting for this for ever. Now its real football for KC. Thats a different team.
  17. He definetly thinks 3 points is useless. How many games did they lose by less than 3? Those stats are BS. Maybe going for it stat wise is favorable but it does not take into consideration situations like going up by two scores vs not. Being up by two scores is likely a very good thing.
  18. Just pressure Big Ben. Thats the game in a nut shell.
  19. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/kansas-city-chiefs/ Chiefs have 26 UFA. 26. Includes Nadi and Ward in addition to HB and others.
