  1. Very very bad Broncos offense torching a very very bad KC defense. Lock is crap & even he is balling.
  2. I think this is the real chiefs defense. Sad but true.
  3. It seems like the defense has a lot of pending free agents? Hard to tell what will be the most needed at this point. Wow. Check out this huge list of KC free agents. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/kansas-city-chiefs/ This team may look much different next year.
  4. Reid too in the second half. Liked those quick short passes in the first half and using the RB.
  5. This game is about match ups. The Raiders thought they were best not plying cover two. They got torched. KC has lost to 5 good offenses. In those games the defense was not good. Yes KC could have scored more points and will need to in the play offs. I expect similar results against the KC defense.
  6. Borrow #s against a blitz is as effective as Mahomes. This is well documented so I am surprised KC did it so much.
  7. Yes you are correct. Chargers/Raiders has been flexed to Sunday Night Football for Week 18. It will be a "win and in" regular season finale when the Bolts visit Las Vegas. The Chargers are early narrow road favorites. Kickoff is at 8:20 PM ET on NBC. Elsewhere in Week 18, Chiefs/Broncos has been flexed to 4:30 PM ET Saturday on ESPN, with Cowboys/Eagles serving as a doubleheader night cap. The latter is a somewhat unfortunate choice, as there is a strong chance the Eagles will be resting starters unless they decide they strongly prefer the sixth seed to the seventh. The Sunday schedule will be announced early tomorrow (Monday) morning.
  8. Agree. Chiefs could have been one and done & lost the 24-0 Texans game during the superbowl winning year. You need a little luck, a few good calls and decent health to win any play off game. Every play off win had some good fortune in it. All were close and Chiefs rallied to win. That team was not better than or worse than this team. Just a different season, opponents, luck , health, schedule, no covid, etc. That team had its warts too.
  9. The team that lost to the Raiders today. I think any of the play off teams can beat KC. They all scare me. I dont see a great match up anywhere. To be the best beat the best.
  10. Look at the Packers a few weeks ago. Almost let a Balt team with mostly back ups beat them. Every team has warts. TB just lost the infamous Brown. The key will be turn overs , injuries and some luck. NFL referee issues just keep getting worse. Lets hope they are not a part of the outcomes. Lets hope COVID does not determine the winners. Just nice to be in the dance again.
  11. I do not think Brown is a project. He has proven to be solid and improving. He is a starter in the Pro Bowl. Yes its the Pro Bowl but still he is a starter. Thats not a project.
  12. I dont think they play Sunday Night or Monday Night week 18.
  13. Well if you cant beat the 7th seed who can you beat. Its not like those other teams are a cake walk.
  14. Yes agree on adjustments. I dont think its embarrassing to lose to another good team. Those watching, not die hard Bengal fans, saw the bad calls and know that had some dire outcomes extended Cinn drives.
  15. That could be a lot of flexing. We shall see. I think its more about rating that whats fair.
  16. Maybe , based on the situation being critical , Reid has some input or at least veto power? We dont know. I think they wanted to keep the Chargers out of field goal range and had success with pressure prior. Very unfortunate.
  17. I think. If Chargers beat Raiders next week, very likely, and Ind beats Jacksonville its Chiefs Chargers in the Wild Card Game. If the Raiders win, doubtful, its CHiefs Indy in the wild card.
  18. I doubt they move KC to earlier to show the Broncos. Why flex Tenn later to show the Texans? Big game next week is Chargers Raiders afternoon slot & Steelers Ravens morning slot.
  19. Agree. No doubt those questionable calls were crazy bad and most were after a 3rd down stop. One or two different and the outcome may be different. Yet the game was still there for the winning. The defense has given up its share of points to teams with good offenses so the KC offense needs to have a killer instinct. Safe to assume the play offs will be very similar to this game. Offense needs to adjust to the adjustments being made by the opponents defense in the second half. Seems that has been an issue most of this season.
  20. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Chiefs LT Orlando Brown's calf injury is "minor." Brown suffered the injury in pre-game warmups ahead of Week 17 and did not play. Rapoport reports he underwent an MRI that revealed a minor injury. It is unclear if Brown will be ready for the season finale, but he likely will be good to go for the playoffs.
