  1. No tackles left. Now no linemen left. Only 7 active for the game.
  2. Bengals declared DE Cameron Sample (hamstring), QB Jake Browning, RB Trayveon Williams, CB Jalen Davis (ankle), LB Germaine Pratt, OL D'Ante Smith, and DT Tyler Shelvin inactive for Week 17 against the Chiefs. There are no surprises here. The Bengals are mostly healthy heading into their matchup with the Chiefs.
  3. Chiefs declared Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) inactive for Week 17 against the Bengals. Edwards-Helaire was ruled out on Saturday after sitting out the entire week of practice. It is promising the Chiefs gave him until Saturday before officially ruling him out, but Edwards-Helaire is at best questionable for Week 18. Darrel Williams will get the start against Cincinnati and should see a lot of work. Also out for Kansas City are QB Shane Buechele, CB DeAndre Baker, OL Kyle Long, and OL Prince Tega Wanogh
  4. Cincinnati, OH Weather As of 10:34 am EST Sun 02 | Day 36° 15% N 14 mph Overcast. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph. 34° Cloudy 36°/21° 15% chance of precip through 11 am
  5. KC pressure will be the key. Cinn oline is questionable. Chiefs defense is better than Cinn. Cinn very good against the run so Reid will come out throwing it! KC 33-Cinn 24 HB key INT.
  6. One big run does not set him apart from those guys. All three are average. Williams has some pass catching skills.
  7. Bonus is the price of play off tickets is much lower and you get your seats.
  8. Chiefs activated RB Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) from injured reserve. McKinnon returns with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) sidelined. Darrel Williams should pick up the majority of Edwards-Helaire's snaps, but McKinnon and Derrick Gore should mix in as change-of-pace options. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Bengals. Edwards-Helaire was a longshot to play after not practicing all week. The early rule out puts him in a race to get cleared for Week 18. Kansas City activated Jerick McKinnon from IR with Edwards-Helaire out. Darrel Williams will start for the Chiefs and should see a heavy workload in his absence.
  9. LOA has consistently not applied to KC. I have thought that often. I have been wrong most often. Maybe use a 50 year law of averages. Based on that KC should see continued success.
  10. Chiefs designated Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) to return from injured reserve. McKinnon suffered the hamstring injury in Week 11 and has been out ever since. This opens a 21-day window for him to be officially activated from injured reserve. If he can return this week, the timing would work out well for Kansas City. The Chiefs just lost Clyde Edwards-Helaire to a shoulder injury that could hold him out for a few weeks.
  11. Andy Reid confirms all Chiefs — including Travis Kelce — have passed through COVID-19 protocol No. 87 should be back in the lineup Sunday after a one-game absence.
  12. Speaking Wednesday, Patrick Mahomes said Tyreek Hill "was exhausted out there" in Week 16 against the Steelers after spending the week on the COVID list. We need to remember that some of these players testing positive are battling symptoms and legitimately not feeling well. Hill spent all of last week on the COVID list after testing positive before gaining clearance at the 11th hour. He played just 42% of the snaps against Pittsburgh and was fighting through it en route to two catches for 19 yards. Hopefully Hill is feeling better ahead of a Week 17 date with the Bengals.
  13. Chiefs activated Travis Kelce from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Players have often taken a game to ramp back up to full speed after returning from the COVID list but it's hard to see the Chiefs giving Noah Gray or Blake Bell significant snaps over him. It's even harder to imagine fantasy managers turning to a streaming tight end instead of Kelce. The top-five fantasy tight end can remain in lineups for a potential shootout with the Bengals this week.
  14. Weather Sun in Cinn. 43% NW 20 mph Mainly cloudy with snow showers around in the morning. High 36F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Higher wind gusts possible.
  15. I think the Cinn defense is suspect. Chiefs defense and big game experience is the advantage.
  16. Remaining on COVID-19 list At the time of this writing, cornerback Rashad Fenton, safety Armani Watts, placekicker Harrison Butker and punter Tommy Townsend remain on the Chiefs’ Reserve/COVID-19 list — although the team saying goodbye to Fry (and the elder Townsend) indicate that the team’s regular placekicker and punter will be back this week. Reserve/COVID-19 restorations and expectations On Monday, the Chiefs activated offensive lineman Kyle Long to the 53-man roster from the Reserve/COVID-19 list, meaning he is expected to rejoin the team when practice resumes on Wednesday. As a reminder, tight end linebacker Nick Bolton, tight end Travis Kelce and offensive lineman Lucas Niang were placed back on the 53-man roster on Saturday. Though they were unable to pass through COVID-19 protocols, the expectation is that they will also return to the field on Wednesday. Goodbyes On Tuesday, the Chiefs waived replacement kicker Elliot Fry and released replacement punter Johnny Townsend from his practice squad contract. The team also terminated the practice squad contracts of offensive lineman Paul Adams and wide receiver Dalton Schoen. On Monday, the team released punter Joseph Charlton.
  17. All that stat stuff is BS. I think Mahomes is 49-14 including play offs. Ill take that every day.
