    In his first media session since immediately after the game, head coach Andy Reid said that he's trying to be optimistic that Gay, Jones and Gordon would be able to return to the active roster this week — with the Chiefs due to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. "Well, I'm hoping," said Reid, via Zoom. "Listen, I'm hoping they're going to be there. We just got to see how it goes. There's a matrix of things that you've got to work out. That's where Rick comes in."

    TRAVIS KELCETE, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs placed Travis Kelce on the reserve/COVID list. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Kelce is vaccinated, so there remains a chance he is activated before Sunday's matchup with the Steelers under the new COVID protocols. That said, the fact he is vaccinated and still heading to the COVID list means he tested positive. The fantasy playoffs just keep getting worse.

    So is Antonio Brown. Ill trust Kc decisions. I still think he gets claimed. My guess is Balt.

    All these teams are above average. None are awesome. I dont see a real weak team either. Sadly Covid will likely play a huge role. The team I would like to avoid is the Chargers. Hope they lose early.

    Huntley is better than Jackson. Way better. I think he was an UDFA? Ravens roster must be really deep to cover that many injuries.

    Crazy for sure. Chiefs play Pitts, Cinn and Denver. All are in desperation mode to get in the play offs. No easy wins there. Nice that KC got 9 home games this year. I guess they get 8 next year.

    Jones, Sneed and Gay extra rested, is a blessing in disguise. Entire team gets an extra 3 days rest prior to playing Pitts.

    I dont think he clears waivers. Plus there is not much left on his contract anyway. 4 games worth.

    Doubt he passes through waivers. Teams will claim him ahead of KC.

    Agree. A contender , like Baltimore, needing help may have just been handed a decent corner. That may not be a good thing for KC.

    Holidays almost assures no control. Hard to dictate not getting together with family etc.

    Mahomes was the hero for sure. Wow. Great gutsy team effort all around. Truth: Chargers lost a game they should have easily won. Lots of crazy head coach decisions allowed KC to hang close. Losing their star safety during the game allowed Kelce & Hill to thrive. This win makes up for a couple of early season bad luck loses. Nice to have another AFC division win.

    Im guilty of holding Mahomes to a Super Hero standard. His win loss record says it all. Mahomes is a winner. I watch Brady have similar games where for 3 quarters he is off and then you know what will happen if he needs a drive to win it.

    Its still more the turn overs than anything else. Absolute great comeback performance by Mahomes. This may shake him loose.
