  1. Sure but Reid will never do that. He is addicted to passing.
  2. Chiefs will be torched by Herbert. Torched. Deep passes galore. Unfortunate. Sorensen will be the guy that gives up big plays all night long. 50 points?
  3. Agree. Herbert will have a career day. Three best Chief D Players out and the back ups are not good.
  4. He is playing better but Jones opens things up for him. No Jones and ?
  5. Agree. Im sure the Chargers have similar examples of players that are healthy or have improved. It will come down to turnovers and pass rush.
  6. I think Veach likes to solve his biggest needs issue prior to the draft so they can focus on talent vs urgent need. Solid tactic.
  7. Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed that cornerback L’Jarius Sneed would not practice with the team on Tuesday but was on his way back to Kansas City from his hometown of Minden, Louisiana. “I’ve had a chance to talk to him here a little bit over the last few days,” said Reid. “Obviously, he’s hurting from the situation — [he] was very close to his brother, so like I said, he’s on his way back — and I think it will be good for him to be around his teammates. They care a lot about him, so I think that will help him.” In 12 games this season, Sneed has recorded 62 tackles (49 solo), six passes defensed and two interceptions. His play has been at a Pro Bowl level. The Chiefs would gladly welcome him back to the lineup for Thursday Night Football — but rightfully so, it sounds like that decision will be up to him.
  8. Maybe gets cleared Thursday and takes the Mahomes Express Jet to the game Thursday?
  9. Yep. KC has a nice advantage in experience in big games.
  10. Got it. Yes. Maybe KC is changing the offense to hit the underneath plays and compliment the defense. Longer drives give the defense more rest. The running backs seem more involved in the passing game too. May be a more balanced attack in the play offs?
  11. Winner likely wins the AFC West. Loser is a likely wild card. Not a must win game for either team in my view. Im not sure what Back is. 14-2 last year. They wont get back to that. TB was 7-5 last year and won it all. A loss in a well played game is ok. A win is better. Back?
  12. Chargers will score often. This will come down to Mahomes and the offense. Charger defense is not special. Chiefs need 33. I think they get it.
  13. Austin Ekeler (ankle) did not practice on Monday. Los Angeles did not practice today so the DNP tag is an estimation of the team. It makes sense for Ekeler, who will likely have his practice reps limited early in the week. He left the Chargers' Week 14 game with the ankle issue and did not return. However, his team had the game all but sealed by halftime so he didn't need to see the field again. Chargers coach Brandon Staley said Ekeler is "fine" so we fully anticipate him to suit up and post RB1 numbers versus the Chiefs on Thursday.
  14. Chargers placed LT Rashawn Slater on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The No. 13 overall pick in April's draft, Slater has started every game at left tackle this season while living up to his billing as a first-round selection. The Chargers play the Chiefs on Thursday, making it highly unlikely Slater is able to play even if he is just a close contact.
  15. I think its been an ongoing issue. Chargers took him out in a game they had well in hand. I hope he plays. Beat the Chargers regardless.
  16. Chargers are good for sure. A win for KC equals Super Bowl? Not so much. Its just a win against a good team. Thats it. Long road ahead to a super bowl.
  17. Chargers are like the 2018 Chiefs. KC needs to not give up the explosive plays and not turn it over. Chargers D is very beatable.
  18. Chiefs will need to win this. Chargers finish against Houston, Raiders and Broncos. That likely gets them to 11 wins. 12 if they beat KC.
  19. In Week 15, the Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) travel to Los Angeles for a Thursday Night Football game against the Chargers. It marks their third straight game against an AFC West opponent. Despite being a visitor at SoFi stadium, the Chiefs have opened as 3.5-point favorites for the matchup, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
  20. KC defense has been awesome. Hard to second guess Spags. Bolton no doubt will be a force in KC.
