  1. Vannett is a decent blocking tight end. If we have to IR Bell might be an option if he's cut.
  2. Oh I see they have him as a trade candidate. That makes more sense. He's a shit blocker. He'll of a receiver though. TE MIKE GESICKI, MIAMI DOLPHINS The Dolphins, of course, would not cut Gesicki, who’s playing on a fully guaranteed franchise tag this season, but a trade isn’t out of the question. In fact, the Dolphins have “brought up” Gesicki’s name to other teams, a league source told PFF. That doesn’t mean anything will transpire, but Miami has been willing to engage in conversations. On top of that, Gesicki is set to make $10.931 million in 2022, and he played the entire first half of Saturday’s preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders, staying in the game long after other offensive starters, such as quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, wide receiver Cedrick Wilson, tight end Durham Smythe and others, had departed. And that’s because Gesicki has admitted he’s learning a new position this season. He previously was a big receiver. Now he’s a tight end, and in new head coach Mike McDaniel's offense, he’ll be expected to block.
  3. I don't think I've seen a QB improve their accuracy and decision making that much at the pro level. I had a lot more questions about him coming out of college than I did Pat. It's extremely rare to improve in those areas from college to pros. Usually the higher level of play means a QB will always regress in accuracy
  4. Ok awesome. So evidently we take zelle now. Pretty cool.
  5. Question did Zelle charge you fees or anything? That was pretty cool and fast. Didn't even realize my bank did that before you asked.
  6. Yeah I'd agree with this. The way he was playing in last years playoffs should have won him a superbowl except, you know, Patrick...
  7. Currently sitting at 5 people donating. Thank you for your support.
  8. Some quick food for thought... he has been to 9 conference championship games, 5 without having Mahomes. Only coach in history to win 100 games with 2 different franchises (remind me how BB did at Cleveland again?) 3 Superbowls, 1 win. Broke the KC curse/streak of no playoff wins in the last *checks notes* 3008 years. Andy had a winning record with: Donovan McNabb Old Jeff Garcia Old and Broke Michael Vick (who btw had his best year as a passer with Andy after sitting out for basically 3 years) Alex Smith He also made Kevin freakin Kolb look like a legit QB (first qb to throw over 300 yds in first 2 starts) Obviously BB has him and everyone else in SB wins. He also had the greatest QB of all time. For teams without vampires at QB, winning superbowls is usually extremely difficult.
  9. Fyi if you see the C/G combo blocking the inside defender that's a key it's probably inside zone. The C and G have to decide and communicate in real time who is peeling off to be the 2nd level blocker. They have to decide quick cause the RB typically has 3 options on each play on where to go.
  10. Shitty blocker and don't like him as a receiver over Fortson and Grey. He stopped and ate a biscuit in KC a few years ago iirc. Or did I dream that.
  11. If they IR him before 53 cut down he's done for the season. After, he can return early.
  12. Seems to me they were running a lot of inside zone. By a lot, i mean there were only a handful of plays that CEH and Pacheco were in on, and I didn't study them in depth, but in real time I thought that's what I was seeing. If that's the case that's also not something the oline did a ton of last year so it may be they're adapting to the scheme as well. Inside zone can be effective but you have multiple options on each play for both the inside linemen and the RB's so it takes a lot of practice. Hard to do that in the offseason as there's no contact until training camp. Much easier to work on the passing game.
  13. Well I'm no Achilles Doctor. Nor am I any sort of Doctor. Nor am I Achilles (I'd be dead and also a myth if I were). However I think the answer is no. Or yes. Or I don't know. Definitely one of those 3.
