Some observations:
Nick Bolton was blowing up plays before they had a chance to develop. Kid has improved in coverage over where he left off last year. That's 2 huge steps from where he started for those keeping score.
Khalen Saunders looks great. Their blockers really struggled with him. That's 2 games in a row he looked good, also for those keeping score. He needs to stay healthy though, which has been his problem.
Karlaftis looks primed for a good year. Sack last week was vs backups. This one was vs starters and they double teamed him with a T/G. What an effort. He's got some Tamba Hali dog in him.
D Line has some juice. Clark looks faster and more explosive (though like Saunders must stay available). That's 2 OLines in a row they took it to, this time with no CJ.
The young secondary overall seems better than they have any right to be at this point. 4 of the 5 have a very real chance to be strong contributors. That seems unlikely at best yet here we are. I have to think they'll have some struggles in regular season.
Chenal will be a beast. Probably limited snaps this year (barring injury of course) while he figures out how to cover but he just makes plays every time they put him in. That late holding call was a guy trying to block chenal's neck. Elijah Lee looks fine to hold down the fort. Hopefully Chenal gets some opportunities later in the year like Bolton did last year.
The offense remains good and Mahomes did not forgot how to play. Looks like they figured out the drop schemes plaguing them last year.
May take a bit for the receivers to get on same page consistently on long passes from mahomes but they'll still have a ton of splash plays.
