I thought after we passed on the old pass rushers in FA that veach had decided to rebuild through the draft. I will say it's a terrific draft year to need pass rush and receivers and to hold a lot of picks.

You don't sign depth in the first wave of free agency though. Depth should come at a bargain so you have to let things shake out.

Higher for Johnson, I would think. You can compensate for arm length with good technique, which is kind of karlaftis' calling card. That said, Spags likes length so doubt they go for him. Ojabo could be the best pass rusher put of this class and someone we'd never normally have a shot at. Worth the risk to me.

I think you're probably on the nose there. Maybe he just wants the AAV and doesn't care if it comes with added years with funny money. I still think he's the only FA pass rusher that moves the needle for me personally.

With what Spags likes, I think Jermaine Johnson is a day 1 starter for us as well. I think he's better than Walker. Karlaftis I find interesting as well and I think he may drop quite a ways. He's a polarizing guy for sure but Spags loves his power ends. Ojabo is a no brainer for me if he drops due to the injury but obviously not a day 1 starter. Mafe I am also very intrigued by. Like him in the 2nd but he'll be long gone by our pick.

What we could be able to do is get probably elite but non-immediate. Who's your 3?

I mean OTAs are where they do the installs for the upcoming season's playbook. But you know other than learning the offense, working on technique, and generally becoming better players, I'm sure that OTAs are completely unnecessary 😃

Yeah so we could watch him drop more passes? Bad catch rate for pringle. It was more than double Hardmans. Couple that with an inability to consistently get off press and he just was not the answer. At least with Hardman you could scheme up explosive plays.
