Yeah I think over time we'll start to see the 1 seed become even more important than it has been. Being the only team that gets to rest players at this point in the season + you get to play at home on fresh legs is a huge advantage.

Because he's been inconsistent. It's not enough just to flash for Andy and that historically is what Pringle does. You need to show it consistently to earn more playing time. I think it's probably a fair assumption that he practices like he plays... flashes of being really good followed by drops and mental errors.

Matt House is a really good coach. If you like Gay and Bolton you really have to attribute their development to House. Gay needed a ton of development coming out and frankly the strides Gay made in just 1 year and Bolton in roughly a half year is amazing. Big loss, imo.

😄 they switched the Steelers game here to the Raiders donkeys game, then the Raiders kneeled down twice and game over. Then they switched back to the Chiefs game since it was the only one still playing. Glad I didn't miss Carr kneeling twice.

I mean the facts greatly dispute all this but do carry on. 1 seeds are much more likely to make the superbowl and the home team in the conference championship games are more likely to win. It's not even that close. Once you're in then who knows but you can't win it if you don't make it.

It's no comparison. It's much harder to be a head coach today than it was in Hank's time. Free agency alone changes the game. You don't get the time now to develop players you used to. More diverse schemes on offense and defense + harder to play defense with rules changes. More teams + less rounds = harder to draft. Hell, with hair trigger owners many head coaches don't even get 3 years when they do get a shot.

Ward wasn't even our UDFA. We traded Parker Ehringer and a ham sammy for him. Ehringer got hurt before ever playing a game and Dallas cut him. I believe he's been bouncing around practice squads ever since. Veach should have grand larceny charges filed against him for that one.
