I've seen similar projections for Ward do it's not out of line. Even average corners get paid well.

BTW if u care about PFF grades, OBJ is the 9th rated tackle out of 64 since week 5, amd has the 7th best pass blocking grade, all while facing the most pass blocking snaps in the league.

I think Ward will get paid more than we'll want to pay. I don't think it's a coincidence Veach has picked up multiple high picks as reclamation projects in Baker, Hughes and Josh Jackson, who we just protected on the PS.

Neither OBJ or Tyrann are average talents. The jury is already in on that. 4 sacks allowed by OBJ all year and that includes with his early struggles. If your still basing your opinion on his early season play you need to take another look.

He's a very good pass blocker. Let's not get it twisted. Yes he has some issues sometimes with speed rushers who can bend the corner. But consider, most tackles do. Personally I think he's worth keeping. Initially I had questions about his feet, which I still think suck but he's so damn long and strong, and a good technician to boot, that it hardly ever matters. I also don't think Andy's trying to turn Pat into Payton Manning but for his long term success he does need to learn to play in the pocket better and I think we're watching that maturation process this year. He already has done much better at taking what the defense is giving.

This defense is better than our D the last half of 2019. Offense will get it together and is showing signs of starting to figure it out. We will be scary and the road to the superbowl will run through Arrowhead. Again.

He's still moving around and getting end snaps. And he started getting pressures from the end spot about a month ago. Having 2 capable ends helps him play more inside but even last night they moved him around some. The biggest thing for CJ imo is he was playing the first half of the year with torn ligaments in his wrist and now he's getting healthy. Everyone seems to forget he was playing hurt even when he came back. Yes playing more inside helps but it's not like he wasn't playing inside when he first came back. Another thing that helps move CJ around is that Ingram is really good rushing inside. He did that for years with the Chargers.

Sure but running it is not that necessary. We watched belicheat and others win superbowls with the short passing game. More than 1 way to skin a cat. They're playing complimentary football. Just stop with the turnovers and drops and we will be ok. We've seen these same guys do it before. No reason to think they can't get straight.
