Man though, Thomas' salary cap hits explode starting next year at about 25 mil per year for 2022 through 2024. 75 mil over 3 years is rough and no extra years to restructure.

Still too early in free agency for some of these guys to settle for the 1 year contracts we probably want to offer. If a guy thinks he might still get the multi year contract they want to explore options. As the dust settles you'll see more guys signing as they realize they might get left without a seat at the table.

I don't think we do. Sneed is more valuable on the outside IMO, and he's the only one I think could be great at nickel. Felton is better outside than inside. HB can do it well but he's more effective if you free him up to roam.
Personally I think NB is a need.

That’s just objectively not true. Hell, Kadarius Toney is more of a gadget player than Mecole and he'll go by the second round at the latest. Teams want speed even if they have to scheme up touches. Now is he worth a second? Doubt it. But he's closer to that than a conditional 7th.

Add in another first and you might get that done. I wouldn't say he's that much better than some of the other tackles that could be had but he is the best LT prospect in this draft.
Almost never worth it to trade that much for anything other than a QB.
But if we're dreaming I'd trade up for Kyle Pitts and take my chances with a later tackle.
