    Now that would be a great underrated signing. Hilton is a year to year dependable slot at a position that is usually very much up and down historically. The guy is a stud. Can play man and zone. Spags' kind of corner except for the length. That also let's Sneed stay outside where he can do a lot of damage. Hope this goes down.

    That would be my preference. And then a 2nd tier LT on a shorter deal depending on how they feel about the rookie crop. It should be noted that after releasing the tackles KC could pretty easily clear even more room than the 30 mil we thought they could. Could clear 40-45+ mil pretty easily at this point.

    His contract was set up to allow this. Thats why its great it's so long. Spreads the 17 mil over 5 years if they max it out and do it as a bonus. This is only a problem if you want to get rid of the player.

    With losing both tackles and the center out, that's a lot of continuity gone. Doubt Andy sees it the same way.

    Who knows. Pretty sure Veach understands there's a cap. Not sure he believes it's real (spoiler alert: it's not) but he at least is aware of it. He won't announce anything until it's done. Typically the only stuff that leaks out of Arrowhead is what they want out there.

    Remmers was never meant to be the swing tackle. He was meant to be backup IOL. Only the circumstances dictated he play there and only because we had no options. Remmers proved to be a good backup RT and IOL so I'd be fine with resigning him. Frankly he played better for us than he did for the Giants.

    Pat restructure alone can save another 17 mil. HB extension another massive chunk. That's just 2 moves. We fine.

    The problem may be that we need a young left tackle (i think Niang should probably be a RT). That day 1 starter might not be there. I would guess they won't. Right tackle, yes. Versatile tackle/guards, probably yes. LT's that may need a year, also yes. Day 1 LT, probably not.
