  1. The answer up high in the draft is always BPA at a position of need but we don't really know yet if all those positions will be needs still on draft day. Depends on what we do before then obviously.
  2. Yeah most draft picks over time don't pan out for every team. That should not change your draft strategy. When you go fishing for need and pass up better players to do so you'll end up with a mediocre team.
  3. Vera-Tucker would be my number one oline target but yes we'd likely have to trade up so probably not. I think he could start at 3 positions for us and fill in as a spot starter at LT and C even. That's hard to find.
  4. Yeah that's the 2 guys I like as well, as far as tackles that could be there when we pick. Don't disagree with the placement. Mayfield I think would be ready to play faster but really like both those guys. Cosmi in the 2nd, Walker Little in the 3rd is kind of how I have them. A trade back and Radunz or Cosmi would work, though I think Cosmi might be a year in a strength program away.
  5. I haven't seen shit. They just keep saying "back". Would love to know.
  6. I don't think Alaric is right for our system. Personally I kind of think his ceiling is a backup anyway unless he lands in the right system. He's much better for a system like the Rams or 49ers where you're running that outside zone over and over.
  7. Cosmi is probably only a tackle. Doesn’t really bend or get enough leverage if you move him to guard. But I think there's some versatility in that you could start him on the right and develop him. Eventually he could play left. Dillon Radunz is another guy I like. Also a mauler like Jenkins but more athletic. This is a great year to need oline y'all.
  8. Teven Jenkins is fun as hell to watch. Really like that kid. He'll just destroy some people in the run game. Good in pass pro as well but they get rid of the ball so damn quick it's hard to tell how well he'd hold up with some of our longer pass sets. Not sure he can play tackle for us and I definitely don't think he can play on the left. Might be a right tackle for us but more likely would be a mauler at guard. I think he's very draftable for us due to the positional versatility and he kind of fits the bigger, less athletic gap/man guards we've been picking lately. I actually like Cosmi better for our system. Vera-Tucker is probably also one of the better fits but I don't see how he drops to us with plus tape at multiple positions.
  9. Reaching for need like that is the best way to end up with a shitty team.
  10. A spider graph gives their combine numbers as percentages compared to every other player at their position, as far back as their database goes. Basically he has great COD but he's slow as shit.
  11. Borderline. Hed be fine at end of rd 1 somewhere in rd 2. I think he's gone by the time we pick again in rd 2. Disagree. He's first rd talent. I would call him a 1-2 guy. But that’s the talent pool you're going to be looking at at the end of rd 1.
  12. Me too. Personally I think that would be a great pick if they're confident Schwartz is ok.
  13. Just an FYI, but LDT has a no trade clause in his contract.
  14. lol people gonna shit their pants when we take Brevin Jordan in the first.
  15. Well if he was trying to get back for the playoffs that may not have been an option.
  16. lol not sure how you can say that. How was there no attempt to get back for the playoffs?
  17. Depends on how the draft board falls. By the time the draft rolls around free agency is all over but the crying.
  18. I was speaking more to pass blocking. He doesn't typically display the side to side agility in pass pro that Andy likes and quick DTs may eat his lunch in the middle. That said he's a smart player so maybe he'd be ok with some scheme adjustments and some better guard play on either side.
  19. I would rather leave Allegretti at guard where you can better hide his lack of athleticism.
  20. Nah it's about respect on this guy. Iggles are in for a major rebuild and they know it.
  21. What if the money was the same? 1 year small contract.
  22. Kelce is still a really good center. Yes age is a concern, but he'd be a terrific stopgap. The iggles cap is in horrible shape and now they have to eat that Wentz contract. That's the only reason he might be available. Kelce as a stopgap would buy you time in the next 2 drafts to find a center.
