  1. I actually agree with this. A reliable Z receiver should be near the top of our list. Theres a few guys in that 1-2 range that would fit the bill. Olave Terrance Marshall Amon-Ra All fit the profile KC likes Keep feeding the beast
  2. Yeah but LJ looked great last nigh... oh wait. Well, at least he'll always have that 2nd quarter comeback last week.
  3. KC won't gift the Brownies 5 turnovers. Browns have given up over 300 yards in 7 of the last 8 games, including over 500 last week to The Statue Formerly Known as Big Ben. Will Chiefs be rusty? Browns will be hyped early and perhaps even get up on us early but I think we'll show in the end that this team has many different ways to win. Go Chiefs!
  4. There's a real chance EB stays depending on if he likes the job. I think Atlanta wants him but he may not want them.
  5. We have several Joe's within a few miles of us. Don't hate. I may smoke a pork butt or ribs myself though.
  6. Right. A head coach and GM hire in the same year would net you 3 total picks, but you'd receive them as one 3rd round pick each year over 3 consecutive years. https://www.nfl.com/_amp/nfl-owners-pass-resolution-rewarding-teams-for-developing-minority-coaches-execs Excerpt: If a team loses a minority coach and an executive to HC and GM roles, that club will receive a third-round compensatory pick for three consecutive years. As far as I can tell the loophole would be a coach gets hired one year and a GM the next year. That would net you 4 picks total over 3 years, with 2 picks coming in year 2. GM hired year 1, get first 3rd round pick. HC hired year 2, get your 2nd pick for the GM hire and first pick for the HC hire Year 3 get 2nd pick for HC hire. So here's hoping Poles gets hired in Carolina, and EB waits a year. Poles is a superstar in the scouting community so I think it's inevitable he'll get hired away. He's Veach's right hand guy.
  7. There's a big difference for LJ. Coming back from a first quarter deficit, when the run game is in play, is different than doing it when time is running out, when you don't have time to run, and everybody knows the pass is coming. Yes technically it was a comeback. But just barely.
