  1. Well 2 things will do them in... 1) Phillip 2) Rivers
  2. Unless Josh Allen pulls an LJ in the playoffs i don't see the Colts getting past them.
  3. "Freaky Time" lol I guess that's as good a description of those off schedule plays as any. Around the 30m mark
  4. CB play is volatile year over year. Very few corners are consistent year to year. He looks like he has a chance to be one of them... speed kills y'all. Very impressive that he learned to play nickel corner while recovering from the injury, with no game snaps at the position until he started there. That may be the hardest position on this defense to play. Kudos to Sneed.
  5. Named to pff all rookie team https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-all-rookie-team-chargers-justin-herbert-qb-vikings-justin-jefferson-washington-chase-young From a statistical standpoint, no rookie cornerback came close to matching the season that Sneed had for the Chiefs. He allowed just 214 passing yards into his coverage on 45 targets, and those targets yielded a passer rating of just 53.4 — third-lowest of any cornerback to be targeted at least 30 times this season behind only Bryce Callahan (46.9) and Xavien Howard (53.0). Sneed also showed the ability to play both outside (164 snaps) and inside in the slot (171 snaps) with different roles before and after an injury that held him out from Week 4 through Week 10. All of that led to a wins above replacement mark that was nearly double the next closest rookie cornerback. The Chiefs couldn’t have hoped for much more from the fourth-round pick out of Louisiana Tech.
  6. Disagree. I think we're playing as goof football as ever.
  7. Oh no doubt Mecole has a lot to prove next year. He needs to go do whatever tyreek does. That guy trains like a madman in the offseason. Ironically Mecole would have good value in a trade if we were so inclined. Rare speed has a premium.
  8. I've actually been thinking the same but I might wait a year. KC has only been carrying 2 QB's until the practice squad rules changes this year. Mahomes is still young enough that he gets a lot of benefit from an older guy to help dissect defensive film during the week. The QBs do a lot of that study work themselves, in addition to the coaches.
  9. Fucked up his elbow and then it turns out Wharton is a superstud. Who knew. We typically just carry 4 tackles on GameDay and a the other 4 can all play.
  10. Did anybody see Khalen Saunders at LB yesterday. I read he played there in 2nd half. That's crazy awesome.
  11. I like Pringle but seems like every so often he gets a chance, looks great, then promptly gets lost in the shuffle again. I think he just needs a bigger showcase to show what he can do.
  12. Hell everybody here was ready to write off Darwin when he got benched earlier this season. Let's write off mecole early too. C'mon y'all
  13. No that's proprietary information. But you know, I'm sure accidents will happen...
  14. Who's zen? Depends on the matchup I'd say.
  15. He definitely has a lot to work on. Starting with routes and hands.
  16. I caught bits and pieces of the game Durant looked good at guard. Not too surprising as guard is easier to play than tackle but he was getting some serious push in the run game in the plays I saw.
  17. Because you don't know how to run NFL routes doesn’t mean it's not hard. There's a reason receivers take so long to learn to do it at an elite level. Guys that can do it in college are few and far between. Georgia's offense just had them running to spots on the field, which is what a lot of spread systems do. Reminder Tyreek took 3 years to learn how to run routes.
  18. Yes we would. If Poles is hired as a GM this offseason we'd get an extra 3rd round pick. This is assuming EB is hired. So 2 hires from your team as either GM or HC in the same offseason you get three total 3rd round picks. If Poles gets hired next offseason though we'd get two 3rds for him instead of one. Clear as mud?
