Meh. That play is just part of a package playing with the qb in motion. We've seen multiple plays off that now and it's designed to sow confusion. The only problem with that play is kelce was supposed to run it in. He would've had a TD.

The running game is extremely overrated except when you don't have a great QB. Otherwise it's only necessary as a means to keep defenses honest and to close out big leads.
HS QB and DB from a really small town outside of Tulsa. Hominy is too small to attract major college offers, its a 1A school. Late bloomer as well. HS valedictorian course its Hominy so there's only like 5 kids at the HS.

Yeah secret is out on Collins. I was hoping he'd fly under the radar. Beginning of season I thought 2nd round cause of the school but he probably won't be there in the first when we pick.
If he tests like he's capable of (allegedly) he may go top 10 this year. I agree he needs more time in college but if he gets a first round evaluation, which he probably will, he would be smart to come on out.
My current draft crush is Zaven Collins from Tulsa. Man that kid is a beast. Would be perfect at MLB in our defense. A guy with his size and movement skills would kill.
A more consistent pass rusher opposite Clark though would be bigger for the D though.
I don't know what to tell you guys. Spags said from the start he would play at Sam to start and then eventually learn Will. Sam comes off the field in nickel and dime.
Yall want him to instantly learn 2 LB positions with no offseason reps and limited college experience in a complicated defense and it's just not that feasible.
I think the problem is more in y'all's expectations than the player.
Rookie without a bunch of college games played without much of a rookie offseason. Not really that hard to understand why they don't want to stick him in a complicated defense before he's ready.

Personally I'm not judging him too harshly for a few reasons
1 CB play is always volatile year to year league wide
2 fucked up offseason for a 2nd year full time starter
3 his game is being physical, and you can't convince me the broken hand is not fucking with his play.
