I think the reality is we're probably looking at our playoff roster already. KC projected at 13 mil over the cap next year due to the projected decrease in the total cap number. We have almost 6 mil under the current cap but that could be rolled over into next year to help alleviate that. If we do anything I doubt it will have anything but a negligible cap impact for 2020 or 2021.

I mostly agree with this. That said if we got Quinnen Williams for only a 2nd round pick I'd do that in a heartbeat. Thats a force multiplier. Our defensive backs do very well when the pass rush is doing well. Williams is good against the run and pass and would be even better if he wasn't the focus of every offensive line. Salary and years left on the contract are doable. I don't think we need him but I do think our defense would be even better with him. Think San Fran's dline last year

We need to come out strong this game. Jets have some players. Crowder is a good WR. McDougald is a good safety. Hell even Le'Veon Bell can do some damage if he gets going. Hope we're up for it.
