run defense may be the single aspect of the game today that is most overrated by fans. You just need to be able to slow the opponents run game a bit when you have a team like ours. If you can't pass on us you likely can't keep up. Our 1 loss was a failure in pass defense.
There's zero chance Spags spends a second in cover 0 again with Ruggs on the field. Remember how the bills linebackers kept dropping at the snap and were always late to their fills because of it. Thats kinda what we did that game only in reverse. We were worried about the short game and all Carr wanted to do was drop bombs.

Offense still hasn't unlocked the red zone game. I believe they'll get better though. They did not run in the snow nearly as much as i anticipated. I think Andy wanted to see what that line could do with more passing.
Third down game was ridiculous.
That and really most of the damage from the raiders game came in 6 plays. 6 plays that went for 265 yards. Gruden caught Spags playing some tendencies and we didn't adjust fast enough. We learned from it though.
Tell you what everyone should have learned by now. Lots of people like to bitch about guys like Sammy and Dirty Dan but both of those guys do a lot of dirty work that tends to go unnoticed by fans. Fans like the big catches and don't notice the clear outs Sammy runs to free other guys up or realize that teams respect him enough that those routes work.

I believe this will be closer than people think. We may dominate TOS again but until we unlock the red zone game these heavy rushing games will be relatively low scoring affairs. Well, low scoring for us.
I do not believe we'll go 10-0 the rest of the regular season. We'll get a few more wake up calls. If no injuries to key positions we'll be fine though.
You really see us going 6-4 over the last 10? Things would have to go seriously off the rails. For a team that has consistently found different ways to win games, I would think nothing short of a catastrophic Mahomes issue would cause that.
