Would not affect us since we only have 1 guy worth tagging. The tweet is talking about the last year of a CBA being able to use BOTH the franchise and transition tags, instead of normally being able to only use one or the other. If a new CBA takes effect it would go back to normal rules. There's not much will with the players union to eliminate the tags, since it only affects a small percentage of the players, so I doubt that they eliminate either tag. The numbers may change but I doubt they go away. They're not saying we would lose the ability to franchise tag someone - well I know the article literally said that but he's wrong. The guy that wrote the article obviously either didn't read the tweet carefully or doesn't know his hat from his ass.
