  1. Andy Reid is the guest on the next episode. Oh my. That's gonna be fun.
  2. Hard to say until we see them on the field. Maybe FAU but he also may get swallowed up a ton.
  3. I think people are traumatized by 2021 when he kinda sucked at it. He was much much better last year and it's hard to keep track cause they moved him around so much in 2022. I think he literally got a sack from each position last year. CJ is the most underrated defender in the NFL, mostly cause AD is an absolute freak.
  4. Not sure why, its what allowed him to up his sack total last year. It wasn't great the year before last when they were experimenting with it but last year it was very effective when they used CJ at end as they were targeted specific matchups. Hell the sack that basically ended the Cinci playoff game was from the edge.
  5. We drove to KC last week up through Kansas so pretty sure that is considered entering KC through the backdoor
  6. I believe the Harvard weight room is the library. They just lift books.
  7. We would not be renaming Mahomes Stadium for a defensive end. GTFO.
  8. Nick Bosa wouldn't affect our W-L? With CJ on the same line?
  9. Very low chance of someone signing him. Look at the FA RBs out on the market.
  10. The reason you wait til after the draft is FA's stop counting towards the compensatory pick formula tomorrow. When Veach says they have a great relationship with Jet, read between the lines and he and kc had a deal to wait until after the draft to sign for just that reason.
  11. I'm not sure why AZ doesn't like him other than late round pick bias. For a kid learning on the fly he showed amazing growth in patience running behind his blockers (his biggest weakness coming out of college) and was killing it as the year went on. Fans should be excited to watch his growth.
  12. I mean he's not that small, quick twitch guy but he's not lousy at separation. Typically he'll get quick separation on short or intermediate routes which shows in his explosionmetrics. On longer routes, i saw corners get back in phase on him but he did show a knack for getting separation late in the route and when he doesn't he consistently came down with contested catches. Like very very consistently. I'd put him right up there with Tillman as a my ball guy. A lot of it comes down to learning how to run routes which is always an issue with these spread receivers coming out of college. Their route tree is so simplified you almost have to start from scratch with learning the nuances of routes, as most of the time they are taught to just run to a spot. That said, he did show more route moves than many spread receivers and had some subtlety to some of his routes that was really encouraging. Saw some wicked fakes in there at full speed that twisted the corner up and led to easy catches.
  13. It's easy to miss on a high WR. Just ask Detroit. And you still have to make the call as a GM. Those WRs have put Burrow in the conversation for great NFL qbs. If he had Patrick's wr Corp last year they'd have been sub 500. They make him, not the other way around. Higgins would be a 1 on many other teams, including ours. I wasn't throwing shade at our WR corps. They have a lot of promise and the future looks bright, but credit where it's due.
  14. Plus tbh he can't cost that much or he'd already be signed
  15. The cap isn't real, my friend. It's an illusion if you're smart, and Veach and Borgonzi are 2 of the best. I would remind you at one point he did a whole offseason after starting it with no room under the cap and we didn't end up in cap hell cause of it.
  16. He's the other great contested catch guy beside Cedric Tillman and he's got more juice and is more athletic than Tillman, and is ultimately more versatile in the types of routes he will be able to run in the NFL. Some context for those combine times: As well, I noticed of the three 2022 games Seth reviewed, he picked 2 that were arguably his worst 2 games of the season, however both those games (Navy, Cinci) were right after the turf toe injury where he was still playing while recovering. All in all he played 9 games last season through the injury and still led the FBS in yards per game. That's pretty tough. I can see why he picked the Cinci game (lots of press) but overall there were better games to glean information from. If he reaches his potential he could be a real weapon for us.
  17. I think you're right. Been thinking the same thing.
  18. I don't think the first 3 picks are immediate starters, at least this year. Omenihu will likely start and FAU will get the pass rush situational snaps. Wanya may find it tough to displace Niang if he's healthy, though long term I like Wanya better. And history is not on Rice's side to starting year 1. Expect the same limited year 1 snaps Andy gave the last few 2nd round receivers. FAU and Rice should get meaningful snaps though and hopefully be ready for next year. Wanya I think can clean up his technical issues on the scout team and be ready for next year. Conner will play ST so that should be a nice route to getting some snaps on D.
