And even if we do draft a tackle you're likely still looking at a right tackle where we can get so you're still starting a RT at LT. We don't have the ammo to get to the first round LTs. Giving up the 2 first rounders it would take would be crazy. If a guy drops in our trade up range sure but I think that's not super likely.

There's a good chance Wright is gone, maybe even Harrison. Guess they could draft Washington and help block and 2nd TE all in one. He's by far the best blocking TE.

I would love a trade back. If we get to 31 without trading up I think the grades will be similar through the 2nd round. That said takes 2 to tango and that's a legit reason why no one may want to trade up just for the 5th year option. If a QB falls to our spot though all bets are off.

Dalton Kincaid would be awesome but I bet he goes higher than we're comfortable. However if you like Kincaid you'd probably love Sam LaPorta from Iowa. Virtually the same size. Kincaid has not been able to workout but LaPorta tested elite in every category but size & bench and looks very similar on the field. The athleticism shows up in both cases. 2 of my favorites in a draft full of great tight end options. I would really like us to find a more productive understudy for Trav and hopefully the heir apparent. Plus Andy kills with 12 personnel so it's not like they wouldn't play a lot.

I actually moved him up. Initially had him lower. But you have to give the guy some respect and that Jets team has a lot to work with including a receiver corps he hasn't had.

I might add I can help a tackle multiple ways and still get off my play. I can't help a guy not get pressed to death.

It's not a choice between "another target" or a good line. It's another elite target that can beat any coverage. You have to have multiple guys that can do that to dictate what the defense can do. Plus there's nothing stopping you from drafting a tackle. There is much less difference between the top tackles and the 2nd tier than with zay and the 2nd tier. Everybody all hot and bothered over Broderick Jones but let's face facts, he will need significant development as a pass protector. Jawjuhs offense did help his development there. The types of long developing deep plays Andy loves he will struggle with. Listen I'm fine either way. Hell just get a good player but patching together a receiver corps every year is not helping mahomes. Get him some guys he can grow with.

We can be a lot better and games don't have to be that close. What I'd like to see is for us to add the explosive element back in but now you're doing it with a more mature Mahomes who is fully capable of taking what they give him when they sell out to stop it. Once we went up against the tougher defenses the yac was harder to come by and it led to closer games than we should want. That's not gonna change. Not to mention the fact that, while fans don't want to recognize it, juju was doing just enough dirty work to force teams to get off kelce. Add some explosion back and another reliable big man and watch the scorched earth.
