    Doesn't matter. It won't be among the top 51 contracts so won't affect the cap. Not enough accrued seasons for a VSP or 4th year player exception so it's just a straight vet min contract for a player with 1 accrued season.

    I mean, I'm all for moving on but those numbers are not really what they were offering. There was a ton of funny money for show in there and not much guaranteed. The guarantees were where he was balking, not the totals. I agreed with Veach taking a hard line on this. I think most of us get it.

    Typically most teams want a 34 inch threshold but we've seen some tackles do well around that 33 mark. But then again I only said he'd do as well as OBJ. It's not a high bar.

    The lack of postseason success narrative is way overplayed with CJ. Even when he wasn't getting postseason sacks he was disrupting entire gameplans. He finally got some reliable complimentary pressure around him this year and look what happened. He gets a pass for the superbowl as no pass rusher for either team was doing shit considering that field gave a significant advantage to two elite offensive lines.
