  1. Opportunity cost my man. You're looking at the 2nd round for him. That means you're not upgrading at a more important spot with one of your premium picks. Pass rusher, offensive tackle, safety, receiver, nose tackle... all need immediate help. If we want to repeat that means smart drafting. Now if he falls to late day 2 or early day 3 you can consider it. But that's not gonna happen. Even then I would only consider a Will at that point and only if you're not gonna resign Gay. Personally I don't think Campbell has the man coverage chops to play Will at a super high level.
  2. Sam has specific requirements. Chenal actually fits what Spags has historically looked for there like a glove. Further l, in the modern game, the Sam is only gonna see the field in base, so about 20% of the time. Break it down further and Chenal has the ability and potential to also play in Sub as a secondary rusher. What Campbell does well is not what Chenal does well and vice versa. In Spags system, Campbell is a Mike not a Sam. Also while Campbell did test very well...
  3. Chenal was a true Sam, not a Mike. We did not have a guy like that on the roster. I like the player but we have far bigger needs for a day 2 pick than to replace or back up an off ball linebacker when we already have a plus level starter there on a rookie contract.
  4. lol he's not gonna fall that far. You're dreaming.
  5. lol cowgirls are tagging their RB as well. Dumbassery.
  6. I don't think LaPorta is the blocker that kittle was. Not sure he has the same upside either, but overall a really good prospect who can do everything pretty well. I think he gets lost in the tight end shuffle this year with so many tight ends coming out with intriguing traits. I have less questions about LaPorta than I do a lot of the top guys. Probably he's the most well rounded outside of the serial killer from notre dame.
  7. I'm much more impressed by Adebawore running 4.49 at 282 pounds with a 1.61 split. Much more of a Spags type as well as he can reduce to the interior and Spags loves him some ends that can play inside.
  8. So tired of him he resigned him for a year? Don't buy that. This is the "get the fuck off my lawn" thread.
  9. Dead cap hit on Mahomes is down to 94 million so if we're gonna cut him now is the time.
  10. Jack Campbell blew it up too. Not sure what they're feeding those Iowa corn-fuckers but I'll have some.
  11. Yes he pretty much fits any front. And we won't sniff him, he just blew up the combine. While he needs to develop, guys with his size, length and athleticism usually get overdrafted. His tape is good too though so I expect he'll go high unless there's character stuff I don't know about. He hasn't been playing the line very long which actually helps him cause coaches love that.
  12. https://nflpa.com/kansas-city-chiefs-report-card#treatment-of-families Anonymous player surveys Rick Burkholder took some serious heat.
  13. Pacheco just averaged 4.9 yards per rush. When we had Jamaal it was advisable to give him the ball. With Pat, I don't care if Jesus hisself is rushing the ball; don't take it out of Pat's hands more than absolutely necessary.
  14. Yeah hard to tell at this stage. Kind of depends on what they charge him with and when they charge him.
  15. I wouldn't say Pacheco doesn't have vision. He didn't have patience in college but that's not the same. You could see the improved patience as the season went along vs where he started. As the coaches got him to understand how holes develop he really came on with that towards season ends. I just don't see them as anywhere close to the same type of back. CEH has him in receiving right now but Pacheco has shown some ability there and has good hands, just needs more experience with it.
  16. I mean he has a warrant out so doubt he isn't charged.
