  1. No nobody knows. Guessing he wasn't holding us back judging by the outcomes. Bottom line was he was a good coach or Andy would not have promoted him. But facts are facts and the fact is, as long as Andy and Pat are here, the supporting cast of players and coaches can rotate out. As long as the new guys have talent, Andy and Pat will make it work. But I'll say it again, all the handwringing from some fans over EB always was dumb.
  2. Yeah haven't watched in years but I'll tune in. Or at least DVR it. I'd say "tape it" but I got put on blast last time I said that.
  3. Long story short, your best chance for success when picking a tackle is round 1 from a power 5 school with a lot of starts. As you might expect, tackle ranks second only to quarterback in the median pick of its star players and its first-round percentage. Of the 27 Pro Bowl/All-Pro tackles, 14 were drafted within the first 15 overall picks. Dismiss the value of a backup swing tackle at your own peril, but if you want to swing for upside, it’s basically first round or bust. There have actually been more undrafted Pro Bowl tackles (three) than Pro Bowl tackles drafted in Rounds 4 through 7 (two, at least until Jordan Mailata makes it).
  4. If EB makes a viable offense out of Washington he will have done an incredible job. They have jack squat at QB.
  5. Yeah I don't listen to him but that was amazing
  6. He did win coach of the year with a mediocre roster and mitch trubisky at QB using Andy's system. Before he took the Chicago job Andy called him the best head coaching prospect who'd ever worked for him. Let's not pretend he's trash. Plus by the time Andy retires a coach will have to work really hard to screw Pat up.
  7. He said HOF players. If he'd have said primadonna assholes you'd have a point.
  8. Honestly I don't think they were that far apart last year. He just wanted more guarantees. If u guarantee a bit more in years 2 and 3 or plop more in signing bonus I still think you could backload the last few years and buy time to identify a new LT in the draft the next few years. By all accounts he has done much better than I anticipated when we traded for him.
  9. And if we're using the slippery grass excuse not to pay him what is the excuse for him playing so well last half of season and first 2 rounds of playoffs again? Were all the fields slippery?
  10. CJ is almost an Aaron Donald cap hit this year and in 2023. Any extension would help that. Can't see why they won't get a deal done unless he won't take a backloaded deal again. Considering he'll see all the $ from the current deal I think there will be numbers that work for both sides.
  11. I don't think it's a firegonecinckysion at all.
  12. I wouldn't go that far but the run game did well.
  13. Yeah there's no way veach would take on that contract as is.
