  1. Uh ok so I might have been a little low on my evaluation of Toney out of college.
  2. Top 10 in offensive DVOA and passing DVOA, top 10 in EPA per play, passing success rate, dropback success rate and dropback EPA. Please define below average.
  3. You wish we had a safety that can get uncalled helmet to helmet hits? Dude has struggled in coverage but ok.
  4. I think your memory may be making stuff up unless it was hanging out in the trainer's room
  5. He was hurt the last 2 years including a dislocated elbow. He has really developed this year but even he has said the injuries set his development back. That's not on the coaches.
  6. We've not had a possession WR like that with Mahomes. And better than expected downfield. Also he has done well at X. Stillers had him in slot most of the time.
  7. Yeah it's his time. He's the future at RB but he did need time to develop. Looks much more patient now so kudos to the coaches.
  8. Nobody stumped harder for us to draft Pacheco. He was my fave RB in draft. But he was not ready to play early.
  9. Johnson was good but also had an easier time of it on the right side. That draft was truly horrendous.
  10. Don't know how real the fins amd Jets are. Jets defense is real, offense is crap. Fins are exact opposite, plus I see Tua tossing up a lot of ducks and those wideouts bailing him out. That offense runs through Reek, not Tua, which is not generally a good thing come playoff time since receivers can be schemed out easier. Much improved division though. Josh probably thought he'd get the Tom Terrific treatment where the whole division lays down for your career.
  11. That guy is a legend. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.reviewjournal.com/sports/raiders/chiefs-flag-buried-under-raiders-stadium-site-in-las-vegas/amp/ For those that don't know
  12. Probably would be our best RB right now though... 🤔
  13. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2022/11/7/23445063/nfl-midseason-superlatives-patrick-mahomes-pete-carroll-aaron-rodgers Most Likely to Finish the Season As QB1: Patrick Mahomes It’s over. There are no more debates or arguments left to be had. Patrick Mahomes is the NFL’s best quarterback, and until Josh Allen can eliminate all of the silliness—namely, the inexplicable interceptions and increasing rate of off-target passes—from his game, there isn’t another in his league. Sure, there are a handful of passers who can go toe to toe with Mahomes in a single game. We saw Allen outplay him earlier this season in a Buffalo win. And Justin Herbert arguably had a better game when they squared off in Week 2. But do you know why I can rattle off instances of Mahomes being outplayed in specific situations? It’s because they don’t happen often! You can always bank on him to show up on a big stage. We saw it on Sunday night against a Titans defense that was so locked in you could have told me Mike Vrabel had tapped into Andy Reid’s headset and I would have believed you. Didn’t matter, though. In the end, Mahomes was able to improvise his way to a game-tying drive before putting it away in overtime. This season, Mahomes has taken another step. Without Hill taking the top off defenses, the Chiefs have had to spread their passing game out horizontally. We’re seeing receivers run more challenging routes on the backside of concepts, and Mahomes is hitting them with regularity. He’s had to be more methodical, as evidenced by a career-low sack rate, while facing the highest rate of pressure of his career. It hasn’t mattered! The Chiefs offense leads the NFL in EPA per play. Mahomes ranks second among quarterbacks in that same stat, third in success rate, and fourth in yards per dropback, according to TruMedia. But where he really separates himself from the rest of the pack is in obvious passing situations—when playing quarterback is most challenging. Mahomes is doing this with just ONE target the defense has to worry about in those situations, and it’s a tight end—maybe the best tight end in the league, but still! While we’re putting an end to the QB1 debate, we can probably wrap up the MVP discussion, too. No matter how bored voters are of heaping praise on the Chiefs quarterback, there isn’t another passer doing the heavy lifting for his offense quite like Mahomes. Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts are winning lots of games, but they have the most support in the league. If you forced their front offices to choose between their two top receivers and the guy throwing them the ball … they’re taking the receivers. That’s not happening in Kansas City. Allen, who was right there with Mahomes in the MVP race before Sunday, has had to carry more of the load for Buffalo, but he’s had a hard time doing that while playing mistake-free ball. So much of the Chiefs’ offensive success this season has been predicated on the quarterback’s ability to make any throw to any part of the field at any given time—and he’s been able to do just that. Mahomes’s performance this season has been truly exceptional.
  14. Surprise - Gotta be the young DBs, but Watson has been especially tremendous for a 7th round pick. They're all contributing and all are seeing the field in some capacity. That in and of itself is odds defying. Small sample size but our 1st round CB has yet to give up a catch. Disappointment - give Pacheco the ball. I was not surprised he looked good as I loved this kid in the draft and was thrilled when we took him. Give the kid a real shot. Expected - our tackles suck ass, and yet the offense is still a Juggernaut. I know we needed to see it post-Reek, but I expected Pat to elevate those around him, including the new receivers. Unexpected - Toney smashing into grown ass defensive ends vs the Tits? đź’Ş Maybe the depth at some positions? Receiver especially, but also DB. That we played so many young guys and that for the most part they're holding their own? Obvious - KC will continue to be one of the top teams while we have Pat. Running the ball continues to be overrated.
