  1. Clark crushed the LT and forced Brady to lob the ball in there after the Honey Badger recognized they were going to run a pick play and move over the top. It was really and truly one of the most clutch team defensive plays we've seen here in a LONG time. This defense still has warts that will be exposed at times. But they are playing with heart, playing physical and really seem to be grasping the new system.
  2. His CAP hit is only that low this year because he reworked his contract. I think they still plan to get a Jones deal done.
  3. Adam Schefter Retweeted Nick Wagoner @nwagoner · 23m #49ers DE Dee Ford re-aggravated his strained hamstring. Kyle Shanahan said Ford is likely to be out "longer than last time" and estimated it would be at least three weeks for Ford to return.
  4. Was the the LB that lit up the RB in the flat yesterday? Whoever that was reminded me of DJ in his prime.
  5. Andy Reid could care less what fans think and has no reason to make that up. The injury was clearly making it hard for Mahomes to grip the ball and those underneath throws are just much easier to execute without a big risk of an errant pass downfield. Plus we had several plays with wide open guys down the field where Mahomes chose not to throw the ball. So it's not like we quit running those patterns. Also injuries like this often get worse with more time as you start to get some swelling. I just making the point that it's easy to nitpick play calling, but rarely do people know what they are talking about because they don't know what the coaches know.
  6. Fisher is fine when healthy and locked up. We don't need world beaters or to give up draft picks to upgrade at LT, we need to avoid having an interior three guys who can't block anyone. And a developmental tackle.
  7. The guy is a warrior. Played through a bad hand injury all last season. He's the anti Sammy Watkins. At least Veach learned a lesson. You can't do much about injuries, but find players who will battle though them if at all possible.
  8. Again when people complain about play calling they rarely know what they are talking about because they don’t have the full picture. Matt Derrick @mattderrick Reid said Mahomes was having difficulty gripping the ball, so they favored more of the shallow cross game and the run game in the second half.
  9. Just saw a film breakdown of our last play and our two big money free agents played big roles. HB flashes like he’s playing tight man presnap. But then at the snap he drops back and plays over the top clearly seeing the Pats were going to try and his him in a class Patriots pick play. At the same time Frank Clark abuses the LT and is a step away from Brady who has to go to his first read. The wrong read because of HBs intelligent play. This is a game we lost earlier in the year. Or last year. But our two big money free agents are grasping this scheme, showing up when it matters and changing the narrative. Making us a legit part of the Super Bowl conversation again.
  10. I'm all over Humphrey. He's projected late first to mid second from what I've seen. Very young, plays with a nasty streak and his wrestling background gives him some great understanding over leverage. I watch a ton of OU games and the way he interacts with QB makes him look like a leader. If there's way to draft a CB and then move up and get him it would be my plan 1. Not sure if that's doable or even if he will leave college though. And then sign the best system fit guard in free agency! Also have to consider what they think Algretti will ultimately be as well.
  11. Bottom line is Andy has done such a good job here after taking over a 2-14 team that people actually complain after beating the World Champs on the road and ending a 21 game home winning streak. Says a lot.
  12. Thornhill is half of the most improved safety group in the NFL. Hardman continues to make big plays leading all rookies with 6 TDs over 20 yards. Our Dline has been hit hard by injuries all year yet Saunders has helped to keep it together and had 2 pressures yesterday. Fenton as a late round pick has a massively important INT vs LA. Thompson has 3 of his 4 catches yesterday move the chains. Our rookies continue to produce and were a big part of ending a 21 game home winning streak for NE. And that without a first rounder. Veach is closing in on a clear year one A for the 2019 class. And he also added a nice developmental offensive linemen too that I think could become our center.
  13. Exactly. I’m sure he’s joking but let’s not get caught up in not recognizing the real problem. I hope we sign and draft an interior lineman. Protect our biggest asset and better close out games by actually opening holes in the running game.
  14. Agree. It’s obvious all these hits are speeding up his reads and that knee has him worried about stepping up into pocket and driving ball. I also think his lateral quickness is impacted by the brace. Andy’s had to try and protect him rather than just run all those verticals all day. Frustrates people but it’s for good reason.
  15. Yep. Phenomenal job by Andy Reid to build a team and game plan that took down the champions 21 game win streak. It’s comical to see people complain about running the ball. Or when Mahomes has an open receiver deep but takes underneath route due to pressure. It’s Andy’s play calling. Or he draws up a great crosser for Kelce to move the chains. But he runs backwards and fumbles the ball. People can nitpick play calls all day. We’ve got one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL period.
  16. Not what I saw at all. Mahomes had Kelce wide open but took underneath route. Had Tyreek wide open in the end zone but took bailout pass. And we were actually making an effort to run the ball.
  17. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t you say Andy Reid made a horrible hire with him?
  18. 4 straight division titles, we just ended a 21 game home winning streak and you want to get rid of the coach? What are you a Broncos fan because that’s freakin stupid.
  19. Too many big errors again made this closer than it should have been. In the end though all that matters is we ended the 21 game win streak and most importantly just won our 4th straight AFC West title.
  20. We need both. But the oline is the clear priority of the two. We need gimmicky plays a lot of times to get short yardage. And Mahomes continues to take a beating. Sign and draft oline!
  21. I saw him at Arrowhead last year for the Ravens game last year. He’s their number 1 analyst so if he’s doing game it’s normally a big game
  22. Classic trap game where a team just mails in a crap effort against a bad opponent. OBrien is a crap coach. Depending on if you care about 3-4 seed this helps.
  23. Just excuses for another late collapse against them. We didn’t execute. And their style of play seems to get us to do that for whatever reason. Henry just seems to demoralize our D. Again matchups matter.
  24. Frank Clark just tweeted a picture of the famous Michael Jordan flu game. So I’m guessing he’s playing. Coworker had same stomach flu this week and it was laughably bad coming out both ends. Every single person in his family has had it so it’s very contagious.
  25. The Chiefs were healthier than the Titans in the loss in Nashville this year which was actually more like.a home game there were so many Chiefs fans.
