Sex and sever should never be used in the same sentence.

Yep. Take the best EDGE or WR/TE in round one. Draft Walker Little or Spencer Brown on day 2 to groom at LT. Then someone like Drake Jackson, who is perfect for our system, on day 3.
-
He is not a terrible guard. Average. He just has no business playing tackle. Hopefully, he is just depth.
-
Why would they give a boatload of money to an established all-pro LG and then put him at Center?
-
He has to be better than Wylie.
-
Meh. Chase Young did say that Niang guy was pretty good.
-
We don’t want anyone posting from IPads.
-
Should still be around $15MM minus tenders and draft picks. They should also be working on an extension for Matthieu that would clear another $15MM.

Hell, I don’t care. As long as Veach brought in one blue chip guy to lead the others.
Great signing of a versatile lineman. He is what Jalen Mayfield or Vera-Tucker could have been for us. With versatility added, Veach can now draft a starting Center, sign a stopgap LT and develop PTW. Or, move up and draft a starting LT and let Allegretti and Williams compete for Center. Of course, he could still sign Trent Williams. Then it is BPA in the draft.

It is 100 pts on the trade value chart. Which equals pick 100, ironically. That is a 3rd round comp pick. I know the chart is not an exact science. But, it is roughly what they go by.
40 + 110 = 574 pts
31 = 600 pts

Yeah. I would be surprised if he got passed the chargers or vikings.
-
The two that I am keying in on right now are Mayfield and Radunz. Could probably trade back and get Radunz and have to trade up some to get Mayfield.
I really like Mayfield. With the multiple issues our line has, someone with his versatility and athleticism would be invaluable.
-
I would love Mayfield there. Already mocked it. But, with a real possibility of Schwartz coming back now, I am not sure if Veach will value tackle that high. He might see more value in a WR or EDGE there. Then grab someone like Spencer Brown in the third, to develop.
-
Good lord. F'ing Kiper.
Maybe he flies up the board after testing. IDK. But I would not spend higher than our 3 on him right now.
-
I think he tops out in round 2, depending on how he tests. I like Freiermuth more for our offense anyway.
-
Idk. Maybe. They signed him to a futures contract. I wouldn’t expect him to start at LT day one.
If they are confident that he will develop quickly, then I would hope that they just sign a one year stopgap and don’t waste a first on a tackle. Depends on their confidence in Niang at tackle.
-
He is still raw and teams’ concerns about his love of football dropped him from a potential Ist rounder to a 6th. That is crazy, as I remember the rumors saying he could drop to the 2nd for that very reason. Not the 6th!
He will be given the chance to compete. I hope he puts in the work and gives it everything he has. If his work ethic reaches his talent level, he could be all-pro.
I think he is still a year away.
