    I hope he takes his ring and calls it a day. However, if he wants to stick around for a fair price, I am fine with it. With Pat it is not like we need the stud punter that we did with the likes of Cassel or Huard under center.

    One inch thick pork steaks have been marinating overnight. Getting ready to start the rib prep. Having a few people over for a feast and then kick back and enjoy a Chiefs victory.

    I am surprisingly not worried. I am confident in a KC win. All of the pundits picking SanFran because “defense wins championships” are partly correct. But, it will be the Chief defense that wins the Lombardi.

    Supposed to be 60 and sunny here. Sit around the smoker and drink a few through the afternoon. Should be good and loosened up by game time. Good beer always seems to go fast, though.

    Not me. Winning the AFC was awesome. I want the Superbowl. I'm sure Marino thought he would be back also. He is still one of the best QBs to play the game, but will always bear that asterisk.
