  1. Ah, the travail of being a Chiefs fan. They were obviously looking past this game. Woefully unprepared. It’s early. Get ti together.
  2. Another thing this year is they have changed QB stats to Offensive yards, and Offensive TDs, just to cater to Jackson’s playIng style. MVPat’s stats were always 5000 yds, 50TDs. They never mentioned his rushing yards or TDs.
  3. Surprise: That Cam Erving is still on this team. Disappointment: That Cam Erving is still on this team.
  4. Considering our recent history with Tenn, I prefer Buffalo.
  5. Go back and look at the draft threads that year. A lot of us had Mahomes picked as the best QB in the draft.
  6. They all play on special teams. Lee can't tackle. Liability in the defense, which he proved early. As far as DOD, I think people had way too high of expectations for him. He was essentially a 4th round pick, who was known for his great special teams play. That is his role.
  7. Lol. At least they still have a sense of humor. The Kelce comments were great.
  8. My concern is Pat’s gimpy hand. He had issues gripping the ball last week and wet conditions could cause even more issues. If that happens, and we can’t run the ball, it could be a dissapointing game.
  9. Clinton Portis, nine other ex-NFL players charged with health care fraud Posted by Josh Alper on December 12, 2019, 10:55 AM EST Getty Images The United States Department of Justice has charged 10 former NFL players with defrauding a health care program for retired players. Former Washington and Denver running back Clinton Portis is among those who have been charged. He is joined by Carlos Rogers, Robert McCune, John Eubanks, Tamarick Vanover, Ceandris Brown, James Butler, Frederick Bennett, Correll Buckhalter and Etric Pruitt. Former NFL wideouts Joe Horn and Reche Caldwell are also expected to be charged with conspiracy to commit health care fraud. The charges were filed in the Eastern District of Kentucky this week allege that the retired players submitted fradulent claims for medical equipment costing between $40,000-50,000 to the Gene Upshaw NFL Player Health Reimbursement Account Plan. They would fabricate prescriptions and invoices to support while recruiting others to make false claims in exchange for payments of up to $10,000. “Ten former NFL players allegedly committed a brazen, multimillion dollar fraud on a health care plan meant to help their former teammates and other retired players pay legitimate, out-of-pocket medical expenses,” assistant attorney general Brian Benczkowski said, via the Washington Post. “Today’s indictments underscore that whoever you are, if you loot health care programs to line your own pockets, you will be held accountable by the Department of Justice.” According to the indictment, the claims filed between June 2017 and December 2018 totaled $3.9 million and the health care plan paid out more than $3.4 million. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/12/12/clinton-portis-nine-other-ex-nfl-players-charged-with-health-care-fraud/
  10. I’m good for awhile, since the Blues won the Cup last year. But, I hope the Chiefs can get it done soon.
  11. Whole new respect for Frank. Lost 10+ pounds, was in the hospital, said he got more practice in the pregame walk through than all week, and still balled.
  12. All the media talk is this morning is how the Pats got hosed by the refs. rofl There were shitty calls both ways. If BB wouldn't have wasted one of his challenges on the Watkins spot, he would have had one in his pocket to challenge the Harry TD. There was the bs blindside block call, two OPIs on Kelce that were bs, and they picked up the flag for roughing Mahomes (by league rules, it was roughing). Also, they should have been flagged for the late hit out of bounds on Pat. They need to stfu. It was bad officiating all around. It's raining in NY today. NIck Wright said it was Pats' fans tears falling from Boston. lol
  13. A win is a win. I don’t know why Reid is so intent on raising my blood pressure, though. Another division title.
