    My thoughts exactly. Part of me thinks they were shaken by last week’s debacle and will be focused and razor sharp this week. I guess being an eternal optimist comes with following these guys for 54 years.

    Checked the TV schedule to see if my local affiliate is showing the game. It is, but I almost wished it weren’t. If the chiefs implode again I’d rather hear it from Mitch than watch it happen. Again.

    Ok, I started watching the tweets in OT's post one by one yesterday, watched them all night with the help of coffee, and all day today. Stayed at the computer and only took bathroom breaks, Ordered pizza. Just now finished with the last one. Need some sleep.

    Most likely should be in the HOF, or at least in the conversation. You're right, OT. Lenny, Taylor, Lynch and now Budde. The clock is ticking. The unrelenting and inexorable passage of time may be the most profound of all tragedies. RIP
