  1. It’s only worn for special games. The mojo is too powerful for regular wear.
  2. I decided to break out my lucky Tony Moeki jersey for the game. If things fall apart in the first half I’ll exchange it for a plain T-shirt at halftime.
  3. At least a dozen. In the first half. That’s in addition to after every play the Chiefs fail to pressure Goff and he completes a pass. It will get old quickly.
  4. WHB is all over Kelce’s knee today. Lots of talk and conjecture. They played a clip of Jason saying he’s probably “good to go” for Thursday. I guess we’ll know tomorrow.
  5. A non-divisional game at the beginning of the year. I hope he sits and gives his knee the 10 days off until the next game.
  6. Pretty tired of the speculation and no news news. Even Teicher had nothing to say about it today, merely repeating what others who don’t know anything have been saying. Honor the current contract, agree on a new one or go away.
  7. Tuning into whb for the first time, via the radio app. Man. That’s some riveting radio there.
  8. The food stamps and energy assistance probably helps.
  9. NFL practice squad salaries There are two separate brackets that the NFL uses to determine practice squad salaries. They are broken up into players with two or fewer seasons in the NFL, and then those considered NFL veterans. Players who have accrued two or fewer NFL seasons are paid weekly at a fixed rate. The salary is set at $12,000 in 2023, but is going to increase each year throughout the rest of the current CBA. Year Weekly salary 2023 $12,000 2024 $12,500 2025 $13,000 2026 $13,750 2027 $14,500 2028 $15,250 2029 $16,000 2030 $16,750 NFL veterans do not have a set salary rate. Instead, they hold the ability to negotiate the dollar amount on their deal, albeit it is not a large range for the salary. The minimum weekly salary for a vet on the practice squad in 2023 is $16,100, while the maximum is $20,600. Year Minimum salary Maximum salary 2023 $16,100 $20,600 2024 $16,800 $21,300 2025 $17,500 $22,000 2026 $18,350 $22,850 2027 $19,200 $23,700 2028 $20,900 $25,400 2029 $20,900 $25,400 2030 $21,750 $26,250
  10. Ditto. Now THAT’S old. And Wilkie is also in that ancient age group.
  11. Oh, man. Facenda and NFL films was the best. I enjoyed those as much as the games. I got one of those football games for Christmas one year and wore it out. If the RB was making progress somewhere in the general direction of the goal line you were having a good game.
  12. Kinnard came in with a lot of promise but didn't seem to improve at all. Watson is proven and reliable, but it would have been nice to see what ISM could do this year.
  13. The first football game I ever watched was the Jets vs the college all stars preseason game when I was nine. I liked the Jets, because they were, ya know Jets. I was an airplane fanatic and my dad was USAF, so it seemed natural. I watched a lot of football that season and still liked the Jets until Super Bowl IV, when KC became my team. If it weren't for Hank Stram I might now be a Jets fan. God bless Hank.
