  1. This is the franchise that cut JT Smith and kept Anthony Hancock. Yes. I remember.
  2. Holy cow they really did. Players released/waived by the Chiefs Quarterback Shane Buechele Chris Oladokun Running Back La'Mical Perine Deneric Prince Wide Receiver Kekoa Crawford Ty Fryfogle Juwan Green Cornell Powell Ty Scott Tight End Offensive Line Sebastian Gutierrez Austin Reiter Defensive Line Phil Hoskins Joshua Kaindoh Danny Shelton Daniel Wise Linebacker Cole Christiansen Defensive Back Ekow Boye-Doe Deon Bush Anthony Cook Kahlef Hailassie Reese Taylor Anthony Witherstone
  3. I remember that game, too. It was the beginning of the end of Marty’s tenure.
  4. Imagine being a broncos fan. You’re only pleasure in preseason is watching a rookie on another team drop a few passes. And that team has beaten yours 15 times in a row.
  5. Apropos of nothing, the knock on Jerry Rice was that he had too many dropped passes.
  6. I really liked him and would like to have seen him stay, but glad to get something for him.
  7. As long as Kadarius Watkins is ready by the playoffs it’s all good.
  8. Been watching some games from last year and he looked anything but slow and indecisive. He ran like a freaking freight train before he got hurt. Wonder what happened to make him change.
  9. Sent via the sketchy Cash App. Confirmation email confuses me. What's GRINDR?
  10. Yeah, that’s been what I’ve thinking the past few days.
  11. I’ll bet it was more than fair and just compensation for his play. At this point it’s all about ego.
  12. Good QB backups saved our bacon for all three Super Bowl winning seasons.
  13. Yeah, those old names I had forgotten. Kawika Mitchell, Scott Fujita, etc.
  14. Not sure how you conclude that from my comments, but ok. I would be the worst GM ever because I would just write the man a check and be done with it, thereby possibly mortgaging the future. I hate to see good players go. Heck, if I were GM, Curly Culp would still be in the roster. But, there comes a point when paying even great players hurts the team in the long run. That’s where Veach’s good sense earns his pay.
  15. At this point it seems like it’s more a matter of pride than money. I’ve been on the “pay the man whatever he wants” team, but am increasingly empathizing with the “get what you can for him and say goodbye” faction.
  16. TECMO bowl is more relevant to season success than preseason practice “games.” They mean nothing.
