Chargers at Chiefs

The head coach and both coordinators need to be fired. Yet another rebuilding year. Can't take much more of this.
-
We may not win a game all year.

It’s a tough job keeping Pat off the field.
-
This is in my top 10 … er ... top 12 Chiefs moments ever.

1993 Chiefs at Raiders
Warning: Dave Adolph defense

I’m rather partial to “blithering imbecile.”
I won’t call anyone that here. But, it’s my go to on other sites.
-
-
Again. Not putting him down. Just recognizing the great players who belong in the top 10.
I watched his entire career. He was a great player.
But, at least ten Chiefs since 1960 were better.
-
When we showed up, he was solid top 5. When he disappeared, which happened often after his first two years, he drops from the top 10, but overall remains in the top 12.
edit: I’m not knocking DT. I’m just acknowledging how great these other players are.
-
Yes to Cherry. No to dumping JC.
Let's just expand the list to 12. That way I can get DT on mine.
-
-
Buck was better. After a few seasons, offensive coordinators knew the way to negate DT was to run right at him. They did that with success.
Nobody ran right at Buck.
-
I didn’t see it was a top 10, just a list of the best players.
In that case, remove DT and replace him with Buck.
-
Not a bad list.
i would add Buck Buchanan, Otis Taylor, Ed Budde, Deron Cherry. Albert Lewis, and Henry Marshall.
A few others I’ll think of later.
-
I was in Ukraine for two weeks. I set my VCR to record the game and was looking forward to watching it when I got back.
In the Kiev airport, of all places, I ran into a guy wearing a Chiefs cap. He was a KC preacher and fanatic Chiefs fan returning from a missions trip.
Before I could stop him, he blurted out how great a game it was and how Vanover won it with that return.
-
Charles in his prime in this offense.
Good lort.
-
-
Yep. The quality is there, but the quantity is lacking.
-
Besides the Chiefs players, I would love to see Tommy Nobis get in.
The guy was an absolute beast at MLB for a crappy Falcons team that never got on TV. He played his guts out every down and terrorized offenses for his entire career.
He played so hard for so long he ended up with concussive dementia and had a sad end.
But, when he played, he was in the Butkus, Nitschke class.
-
Yep. I've said it over and and over: the NFL HOF has no legitimacy unless OT is in it.
Seriously, did he steal some HOF official's girlfriend in high school?

If Priest had avoided injury and broke the 100 TD mark he would be a shoe in.
