    Bengals WRs will toast KC’s rookie DBs. That’s no contest. The key will be getting to Burrow early and often and bumping the receivers out of their routes and making them improvise. Of course, keeping their O on the sidelines is even better. The Chiefs are healthy and fired up. No reason they don’t wipe the turf with them.

    I was 11. That’s the only game I cried over. Man, that sucked. Chiefs were never the same after that. The mysterious Sczott call was the first time I ever considered the fix was in. The conspiracy theorist in me figured the NFL wanted Marino to get another shot at a ring.

    On Christmas Day 1971, my best friend’s favorite team, the Dolphins, beat the Chiefs. We still keep in touch, all these years later. So, I’m hoping for the Dolphins. I’ll invite him over to watch the game. Buy pizza. Hope for a last second field goal win for KC.

    Amazing drafts. What a contrast to the nightmare drafts of the 1970s and 1980s. The '70s Steelers built their dynasty through one strong draft after another and it looks like the Chiefs are following the same pattern.
