  1. Wasn’t one of those turnovers a pick 6 that bounced off the hands of that receiver who isn’t here anymore?
  2. I heard that Gay came back in the game and is fine. No word on McDuffie.
  3. Mahomes sure seems to be missing ........... whatshisname?
  4. Not disagreeing with any of that. But, 1st and goal from the one, literally any other coach.
  5. Yeah, but if Belichick, Paul Wiggan, Tom Osborne, Bear Bryant, Coach Parker - my YMCA 6th grade coach, you, me, Wilkie or some random guy in the phonebook were calling plays on 1st and goal in OT of last year's AFCCG, The Chiefs go to the SB.
  6. Reid is the best offensive coach in the league and is in the upper tier of offensive coaches of all time. He's a freaking wizard. But, when the Chiefs have it 1st and goal, I would literally prefer any coach who has ever coached at any level.
  7. 12 - 5 after a shaky start and taking time for the defense to jell. AFC West champs again. Yeah, the Chargers and Broncos are better than they were, but not better than the Chiefs. No clue what happens in the playoffs.
  8. My bank has Zelle and I use it from the bank app. No extra charges from there. I can't speak to the standalone Zelle app.
  9. I'd like to see Chenal blow something up. Other than that, no injuries.
  10. I love me some Big Red. As long as he's in KC, we're a playoff contender every year. He's a freaking offensive genius and I hope he stays healthy and on the Chiefs sidelines for many years to come. It will be a sad day when he retires. Got it? OK, that said, if any other head coach in the universe came in and coached OT in the AFCCG last year, the Chiefs go to the SB. You take the bad with the phenomenal good. It's the same with any head coach. In Reid's case, the negative is far outweighed by the immense positive. But, I still yell at the TV sometimes.
  11. Yeah, I was hoping for a little more balance this year. Meh. It's early.
  12. Before this last game I would have said Karlaftis. He kind of reminded me of Tyson Jackson. But, now I'm on the "Karlaftis is a Freaking Beast" train. Chenal? Cook?
  13. Last preseason game, August 1984 vs the Pats. Bill Kenney, who had a phenomenal 1983 and was looking even better in preseason, went down with a season ending injury in a meaningless "game," giving #14 the starting job. Still SMH over that one. I hate preseason.
  14. Sucks. Legendary Chiefs quarterback Len Dawson in hospice care Concern around the football world with news Hall of Fame quarterback Len Dawson, who led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory in Super Bowl IV, is in hospice care. Dawson, now 87, played 14 seasons for the Dallas Texans/Kansas City Chiefs from 1962-75. He was 93-56-8 as a starter and threw for 28,507 yards with the franchise. Dawson owned the Chiefs’ single-season passing touchdown record, which he set in 1964 with 30 touchdowns in only 14 games, a record that stood until 2018 when Patrick Mahomes broke it in 10 games. He still owns the Chiefs’ career passing yards, touchdowns, and wins. Prior to his time with Dallas/KC, Dawson spent time in the NFL with the Steelers and Browns. After retiring he had a long career on television in Kansas City. Dawson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987, and in 2012 he won the Hall’s Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award.
  15. Seriously. The HOF game and most of pre-season is like near beer.
  16. As long as they have Robo QB and a sufficient supporting cast, they'll be a strong contender every year. I'm glad they're at least not in the west.
  17. Sucks. One of my all time favorites. https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2022/07/21/kansas-city-chiefs-jim-lynch-death-super-bowl-iv-ring-of-honor/?fbclid=IwAR0dvGLbHTy8R9J-xj5gvW3iVxWaKNivHSEMF7qV7RGQEyUGhhzcqosz5ig
  18. We we need to sign this Philippians guy asap. Put him in the slot and let him stretch the field.
