  1. With the insanely talented group of young AFC QBs, defensive backs must be the highest priority.
  2. They have to stop this. My ticker can only take so much.
  3. Did you know that the Chiefs were ahead by 11 points at halftime during the last game vs Cincy? Dont know if maybe you didn’t hear that.
  4. No biggie. Cincy offense is too good to shut out for long. Just keep scoring.
  5. Cincinnati is just being completely outclassed right now.
  6. They do seem to give up a big play at the most inopportune times.
  7. Dangit, xen. I have a lot to do this morning and I had to watch all 29:51 of this.
  8. The Brady era Pats weren't hated by everyone else because they were mediocre. They were hated because they refused to stop winning and every year wound up in the AFCCG and often the Super Bowl. Having that hate come our way just goes with the territory. Revel in it.
  9. Chiefs roll in the AFCCG, 55-3. The Chiefs so completely dominate the SB that Commissioner Whatshisname invokes the very rare “mercy rule,” and calls the game at halftime. The Lombardy trophy is retired and all future Super Bowls canceled, with the 2021 Kansas City Chiefs declared Champions for Life and all members of the team automatically inducted in the Pro Football HOF. The End.
  10. I donated $13 because it's a good cause, shows class as a Chiefs fan, tips the hat to a great competitor and rubs it in all at the same time.

As of Wednesday evening, more than 13,000 Chiefs fans have combined to donate more than $242,000 to the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, many of the contributions coming in $13 increments, to show respect to Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Bills fans after the Chiefs rallied from a three-point deficit with 13 seconds to play in regulation and earned an epic 42-36 overtime victory in an AFC divisional round playoff game Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. Allen threw four touchdowns to wide receiver Gabriel Davis, including two inside the two-minute warning, but didn’t get to touch the ball in overtime because the Chiefs won the coin toss and scored a touchdown on the opening possession of the extra session. “It’s certainly bittersweet with the game,” said Andrew Bennett, the vice president of the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation, the medical facility’s philanthropic arm, “but the generosity of fans toward Josh is just absolutely remarkable. We’re incredibly grateful for this impactful support. It’s a great sign of sportsmanship and integrity, watching how fans have reacted to this. It’s another huge win for the kids that we’re helping out, day in and day out here in Western New York.” Brett Fitzgerald, a Kansas City native whose 7-year-old son attends a school for children with autism, told The Buffalo News he was ecstatic after the Chiefs’ dramatic victory over the Bills and wanted to celebrate and commemorate one of the greatest playoff games in franchise history. He decided to donate $13 to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ nonprofit, “15 And The Mahomies,” which is dedicated to improving the lives of children, and shared the idea on social media, first in the Facebook group he runs, “Chiefs Kingdom Memes,” as well as on Twitter under the handle @ChiefsMMZ. “It started to go a little bit,” Fitzgerald said. “Then a friend of mine was talking with a buddy from Buffalo and he said, ‘If the Bills had won, they likely would have been donating to Mahomes’ charity. We should donate to Josh Allen’s charity.’ And I was like, ‘Dude, I like that. You’re right.’ ” more at link
  12. I love the guy. I did away with cable/satellite about 10 years ago so the only way to get Chiefs games from here has been SiriusXM and Mitch. I wish I could sync him with the TV on those occasions I can watch a game.
  13. A hearfelt letter to KC from a Bills fan 1 The Game Well, I’m beginning to crawl my way out of depression. Man, I was low last night. I went from crying tears of joy to feeling all the life in my body just leave. One of the best football games ever. And the Buffalo Bills lost. Again. Having Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill & Travis Kelce on the same team coached by Andy Reid should be illegal. Seriously. If Josh Allen isn’t the best football player on the planet, Mahomes is. Fuck that guy is unreal. Being in Arrowhead was surreal. The home field advantage Kansas City has is not unwarranted. You guys are fucking crazy. My ears are still ringing. I can’t believe the Bills found a way to blow it at the end. I should be able to because we are the best in the world at finding ways to lose huge games. But man, prevent defense against the best offense on the planet with 3 timeouts and only needing a field goal is one of the most colossal coaching failures of all time. 2. The Overall Experience I know you all are very proud of your city and your team. And you damned well should be. The hospitality my friends and I received all weekend was world class. Oddly enough, I think that being in Kansas City, surrounded by Chiefs fans is what helped me avoid crumbling into a horrible state of depression last night. So many people came up to me to congratulate me on a great game. They demanded that I keep my head up because the performance by the Bills and Josh Allen was spectacular. I was pretty much told I would be an absolute fool to talk down on the Bills after that game. And Josh Allen in a universal superstar. I really needed to hear that. Kansas City, you are beautiful. I had high expectations coming in to this trip. They were wayyyy exceeded. The people in this city are absolutely phenomenal. Thank you all so much for making us feel so welcome this whole time. Even with the gut wrenching loss, this was an all time experience. Now, go win the whole fucking thing! I love you guys! GO BILLS!!! – Char Les
  14. If the officials were so inclined they could have thrown a flag for that. I hope someone sits him down and makes sure it doesn’t happen again.
