  1. Long story, but what the heck. I was in Ukraine for a few weeks. I set the vcr to record the chiefs games while I was gone. On the way home, in the Kiev airport, another American and I struck a conversation. Then, his dad walks up wearing a chiefs cap. They were from KC and the dad was a season ticket holder. As soon as I told them I was a fan, and before I could stop him, dad tells me all about the game and how TV won it in OT. Somehow he kept up with it while over there. I was looking forward to watching it NOT knowing the outcome, but I just happened to run into the ONLY CHIEFS FAN IN FREAKING UKRAINE and he spilled the beans. Made the dramatic ending anticlimactic.
  2. Loads of talent. Would have been a great receiver if he ever learned what a route was. I’ll never forget his OT punt return TD to beat the Chargers. I think it was the Chargers.
  3. Something about a drug deal, or running drugs or something. Can’t remember who else was involved but it could have been either or both of them.
  4. Ah, man. Too bad about Louie. Funny guy. RIP. Vanover has had issues as long as I can remember.
  5. Peacock streaming. My local NBC station is too weak to come in OTA.
  6. Harris and Claypool are very good. Wonder if they would like to abandon the sinking ship and head over to a SB contender.
  7. Dang. I'm watching on Peacock streaming so running a minute or so behind. I read this and then it happened.
  8. Under no circumstances do I wear Chiefs gear at game time. I don't want the blame.
  9. I want the Bills, Bengals and then the Bucs in the SB. That will set everything right.
  10. 3. C CREED HUMPHREY, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Humphrey was the highest-graded center in the entire league in 2021 and broke the record for the highest single-season PFF grade by a rookie at the position. He ranked top-five in both positively and negatively graded run play rate — something no other center did this season — en route to a position-leading 92.5 run-block grade. The 63rd overall pick got better with his pass-protection as the season went along, too, with zero pressures allowed in six of his last seven games.
  11. I agree on both points, but I remember we were all pretty pumped when he was picked on draft day.
  12. My ONLY complaint with Reid is when the Chiefs are on the 1 yard line, instead of adding a TE and FB and bulling it in, he calls a triple reverse play-action Statue of Liberty flea flicker double cross quadruple fade RPO out of the shotgun. Even when it works it makes me nervous.
